There's spots 3 left for classic characters.

Right now almost all of the cast of characters I wasn't expecting. So, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jade return.

it would be cool if Jade or Sheeva return.

Jade would be shweet to be in MK deception and hopefully a few other goodies like a secret level or character that you have to use a cheat to get but forget cheats I got a storyline for Jade

After hearing the news of Kahn's death Jade thought evil, had lost and her squad returned only to hear of Goro's death she vowed to help Kitana to get revenge but failed after defeating the dark ninja Noob Saibot in combat she was to late to fight in the tournament but wondered into Tsung's Palace and tried to kill him only thinking Kahn would come to find out what happened to the sorcerrer,unfortunetly she was chained in the duengeon and eventually escaped through a portal only her and her clan can create then she sent for Kitana to tell her of the information she had found out.

if there are three spots left, then if one had to take a guess, it would be either one of the following, Kitana, Quan chi, and Mavado is needed so that kabal and mavado can have their rivlary. Otherwise, I really think it would be cool for jade to return, but I only think shell be in qunqest mode at best.

Both Shang and Reptile would not be classic, they would be MKDA returning characters, IMO.

Jade is out of the picture. She was either killed or made in-capable of fighting by Reptile during the events of MK3/UMK3/MKT

now that i have seen all these underated characters return, i think JADE has a big chance of returning or so i hope!

Story usually has no say in whether a character returns or not. Plus, what you said is not canon.

I don't think she will return, but it's possible since this game is a "welcome back" for the obscure characters.

i was looking at the mk deception box and i noticed a character that had brown skin and a green outfit with a touch of black or brown if thats not jade than who is it

Are you talking about Classic characters or Returning characters? Because those three would be returning characters.

I could see Jade being in MK:D.

Well, on the site is says that Li Mei's soul being put into the last DK soldier is cannon, but now it seems she is in MKD. So that doesnt mean the Storyline FAQ is 100% correct. Sidez, the MK storyline can be changed at any time by the MK team, so nothing is written in stone......

In MKDeception, the female characters are:

-Mileena
-Sindel
-Ashrah
-Li Mei(I assume that she returns in MKDeception)

If in the MKDA there were 5 fighters females of 21 fighters (without counting the 2 secrets), I think that being 24 fighters in the MKDeception, there will be 6 fighters females.

I think that a fighter who will return will be Sareena, and the other fighter could be a character well-known (Jade) or another new fighter like Ashrah.

If Jade returns and Kitana no, you think that they would give the steel fans of Kitana, like in this pic?

I dn't count on her being in MKD, but I would be happy IF she was!!!

Although I would like for Jade to return, it seems her presence in a MK game depends too much on the presence of Kitana or Shao Kahn, as in MK2, UMK3, and MkTrilogy. If Kitana is out, then I'm certainly sure Jade wouldn't be in it. If Kitana is in, Jade COULD be in, but then you'd have to look at the lst of female characters: Mileena, Sindel, Ashrah, Kitana, Jade....an that's already five. 5 or 6 would be the limit. I suppose if they had 6 female fighters, at least 2 would be new. In each Mortal Kombat after MK1 (except for MK4 when it was just Tanya), there has been at least 2 new female fighters. So ideally, you could have Mileena, Sindel, Kitana, and Jade all be the returning females, then have Ashrah and another newbie fill up the sixth slot. And another thing--there hasn't been a female hidden character since MKTrilogy. Something else to think about....

Meh, Jade was alright. I wouldn't really care if she turns out to be in MKD or not. Boon said that 6 characters from MKDA would be returning and 10 characters from the Classics(1-4) would be returning, which makes you think:Scorpion,Sub-Zero, and Raiden(high chances are he'll be in there) are classic mk characters, but they were also from MKDA. So would they count in the Classic section, or the MKDA section?

I think Jade has a beeter chance than most of returning. But having a better chance than most doesnt guarentee a return. (But I do think she will return.)

I would love for Jade to return. She was one of my favourite characters back in MKT. She is a great character and would be perfect for MKD. Although, if she does return, I would prefer that her story strays away from Kitana and Sindel. She needs to be more independant and have story for her and not one that just supports others.

I totally agree. If Jade returns, she needs her own story. Or maybe her own separate story but still have relations with Kitana and Sindel, but not as much.

And for that matter, all returning characters should probably deviate from past storylines and have fresh new ones. But their relationships with other characters will still be there and should be mentioned somewhat, but not be the main story. Like the direction with Cyrax--he was once programmed to get Sub-Zero, but now he's changed and works with the Special Forces. Characters' storylines need to change, and Jade is no exception.

Exactly. I think Jade would need to go on some sot of soul searching quest where she would need to prove herself. Determine and decide once and for all whether she is evil or good. Her quest would incoporate temptations from both sides and she would in the end have to choose what to do with her destiny.

Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden would be counted as MK:DA characters.

Well if "Mileena" and "Sindel" are gonna be in the game, why not have "kitana" and "jade" and even "tanya". I think they need to finish the whole rivalry stuff once and for all. If mileena and sindel are the only ones in there, then most probably the whole kitana-mileena storylines will still continue.

They should bring back Tanya and Jade! They are two of my favourites characters! I agree that the rivalry storyline needs to end.
