I like Naruto.

For all I know it could be a perfectly watchable show, all I know is it has a retarded fanbase that's far too willing to make asses of itself for no good reason.

23 year old girls shouldn't be attending college classes wearing headbands and facepaint on a regular basis like it's normal. (And yes, that was a true account of some real people from my college. And yes, there were many of them. Between 3 and 5. And they were some of the most annoying, grating, irritating people I ever had the displeasure of attending classes with.)

Not to mention, going to movies, shopping, themeparks, their jobs, social gatherings (ones that AREN'T costume-related) or day to day wear in general.

Well I pretty much read this whole topic was trying all day to get on here to see how all you guys feel about this game..

To me I was just about to go in to shock when I seen that promo art then I beginning reading about it and see this statement

Also a source at Midway has apparently said that the game will feature "no fatalities and little-to-no blood."

Yea so the rumors of a MK vs DC were true and also the rumors of it being Teen Rated

so yea I was pretty pissed off about this then after sleeping on it and having to dwell on the fact that the first next gen MK game was to be shared with DC comics and got to thinking this could be a game were they need some time to test out there engine and only focus on the fighting part of this game and the story is just a branch or a what if and that the true story continues after this game so they can focus on that and maybe bring back the Mature rating most of us want

But for me I will sit on the side lines wait for more info check out a few gameplay videos see if they are focusing on the fighting if not oh well maybe next time if there is a next time..

This would be an example of someone seriously jumping the gun on this game and coming to the worst conclusion. Note the random DC Comics bashing and inappropriate use of the word "gay".
Thankfully there are more sensible objections.
Personally, I'm looking forward to the game, and I have no opinion as to whether it's looking good or not at this point. And I'll wait until I get more information before I decide that.

I'm curious...because this word "fan" keeps getting thrown around like people actually know what it entails. You mean to tell me because I'm forming an opinion of a series I've obviously invested hefty amounts of time and money in that I'm a "noob" or a "non" fan? I don't approve of the concept that the team has put forth, and because of this, I'm not a "fan"? I guess if that's the criteria for consideration, I'm not a "fan" from your perspective, but tell me why it is that I should care that you consider me a fan or not. If I recall, I had to go out, play the games and spend my own hard-earned money on the franchise in the first place...and this isn't what constitutes a fan? Forgive me for not approving of or expecting more from the people who gave me a franchise to fall in love with in the first place. I didn't know that I couldn't disapprove of concepts, mind you. I'm still waiting to see how the gameplay turns out, because I believe it's just about the most important aspect of the game. (Longevity, people...longevity.) Aside from the storyine, and despite popular opinion if I've understood it, is also majorly important. (If you've been around since the game's initial release, you understand what I mean. MKDA did a nice job of at least building up for it's next antagonist...too bad MKD didn't live up to the Dragon King hype.) In this case, neither appeals and so at this early point before release...I'm finding no reason to waste my time or money or a THIRD disappointing installment. Please keep in mind it's the people who actually went out and bought the previous games in the first place that allowed the franchise to continue up until this point. I'm pretty sure when Midway was struggling to make ends meet financially that the MKA supporters like myself helped keep a sinking ship alfoat, and why shouldn't we ask for something to wet our appetites after TWO disappointing last-gen games? I'm not saying to start senselessly throwing insults and "Death to Boon" campaings, but we most certainly can throw together some thought-provinging and respectful ways to express our thoughts to the creators. You can't just mindlessly start biting the hand that feeds you, and keep in mind that if it wasn't for the MK team, we'd have no MK at all....okay, but if I don't like what they're giving me it damn sure doesn't mean I have to sit back and just keep my mouth shut. From a "fan" of the franchise as a whole, I'm hoping that they CAN throw together a damn amazing game to make me remember why I chose MK above the other fighting franchises out there.

Yeah I think he has probably saved my £40. I was buying all the MK games without even thinking because I am such a fan. I actual fact when I think back at MK DA, MK D and MK A, they were basically very similer games without any real significant improvements in the gameplay or graphics.
