I know you have to pay, but how many are actually going to travel to Vegas and participate in the tournament? This whole campaign to get people to sign up seems to leave out the important detail that you also need to actually go to the event itself.

Well glad you finally admit you're a hypocrite. Thats the first step. As for it being unrealistic to challenge a stranger to a money match it happens all the time. In fact there are going to be SEVERAL such matches at evolution on multiple games. If you bother to go to the forum you'll notice several threads specifically about money matches. There were a few money matches at the tekken 5 nationals and it's rather common at most major tournaments. The challenge, which you neglected to mention, was for you to play me for 1k on tekken 5. We both know you would lose that since you have never played the game in your life and you're a scrub. Then we play on deception for 1k. Now the thing is I freely admit I've never played a single game against a human opponent in my life on deception. In fact I haven't played a vs game for any mk in 8 years. According to your theories that a person who plays lots, as you do with your over 5000 games, is always better than a person who plays less, me with my 0 games played, it should be a risk free bet for you. If the game is as great as you think I should have literally no shot at beating you thus we would split I win 1k from you for tekken and you win 1k from me for deception. We break even 0 risk. Despite me having never played the game in a vs match you still backed down and now you try to make fun of the idea despite the fact there are going to be SEVERAL money matches at the tournament. Would it make you feel better if it was 500 for tekken 5 and 500 for deception. Is that more in your money range?

See my whole point was that the vast majority were not saying it wouldn't make it in. The vast majority want it to get in and I am among them. The reason as was stated numerous times in the other thread was obvious. If the game gets in and has an international spotlight it will get the negative recognition and press that could very well change boon's mind and make him put forth an effort that will produce a game that is average and possibly better than average, a first for a MK game. Now instead of admitting you were wrong or dropping it you decided to flame me and call me a loser. Interesting how you weren't skulled for it however.

So to recap:
I never said it wouldn't make it into EVO and in fact want it to.

Money matches are commonplace especially at EVO. 1k$ money matches are not unheard of either.

You backed down after calling people names in an attempt to get them to play you.

You backed down from a challenge by a person who has never once played a human opponent despite your having played 5000 games.

You claimed all the haters don't want the game there when in fact most of the haters do want it there.
