I've run into very few people that take advantage of the glitches that are in the game. Yes they're out there, but there are always people online playing because they like the game. I hate glitch users, and I wish there were not glitches, but when we have debates like this, there is no need for someone to start slinging mud the way he did. I will fight back when someone does so. The new game will have all new characters and testing will go down, and if you think Midway isn't aware and has not received a million letters regarding the flaws in the game, and if you think a large chunk of their new game preperations come from the EVO thread on MKO, you're very sadly mistaken. Just because you saw someone wishing they had 2 fatalities and traps on a forum board and it happened does not mean Midway got the idea from that board. It's not such a unique idea that it was only mentioned in one place. A forum board regarding EVO is the BOTTOM of the barrel when it comes to them picking ideas for the next game. Believe me, the people that wrote the code for MKD play it a lot, and they know that you can get free throws and that Bo Rai Cho is cheap. They'll do their best to fix things like that in the next one. Anyway, there's no real need for us to debate about this. You think the EVO forum is a great place to exploit the flaws of MKD to make the next game better, and I think it should be done elsewhere. That's what this comes down to. I can't stop you from doing it, and you can't stop me from disagreeing with you, especially when it's done the way truking does it. Good luck with your cause...

It was more than a week ago. 5/16 I made a post that you admitted to not reading. Granted you made yourself look rather foolish with your comments after it.

The last couple that you've written sagas back, i start to read, then i scroll down and see that it goes on and on, and I think to myself, okay, you can read all this and keep this senseless fight going with this dork, or you can save yourself the annoyance of reading his saga and laugh him off again.

ctrl+N opens a new window hit reply in that window. alt+tab allows fast switching between the two windows. highlight ctrl+c alt+tab html to bold it and ctrl+v. There you go it's not that hard.

Actually there is quite a difference between a typo and an inability to spell. My wpm is based on the inclusion of the typo's they happen I know they happen and I generally don't proofread my posts. On occasion I will notice it as I read thru it again but generally I don't reread my own posts.

As for me calling you stupid or a moron well I would have been skulled had I done that and I wasn't so you may need to check again. I did in pm's because there is no site rule regarding that, or at least none posted. You really should work on reading comprehension. His comments were far from insulting or trash talking. It's a well known fact that I was a top player at tekken tag and I took 7th at the tag nationals. It's also fairly well known that I have a history of tekken play in tournaments. On paper it looks like a very bad matchup however I haven't played in 8 months and it's possible pighut is in practice, guess we shall see.

The only reason there are a few people on truking's side is because sadly enough, when it comes to video games, the true dorks out there go to forum boards of games they don't even enjoy. I

The majority of the posts were about how bad deception was and how people wanted it in the tournament just to show how bad it is and get it bad press so that midway would take some serious notice of it.

Thats the thing there is a great difference in what I do and what you described. I wasn't badmouthing you because you like the game. I responded because dave called you a scrub and you didn't think you were. Whats to defend? I've been to an EVO before so I've got no problems with it. I said much earlier than you that I thought it should be at EVO. You're fighting against phantoms here. You are correct sir. however when midway admits to getting idea's from things posted on boards it sort of negates the validity of that comment. It's possible it would have happened otherwise but there were quite a few people who complained about it and it happened much like the examples I gave before complaints changed tekken, virtua fighter, street fighter 3. I wouldn't be shocked if the vs series was even influenced by comments made on boards. There were adjustments made quite a few times to the systems that had positive and negative effects.

Actually I doubt they play it that much. When they didn't realize several problems/glitches until pointed out at fight night that says something about how much or little they play. In fact I doubt they play much at all most designers don't play their own games.

They'll do their best to fix things like that in the next one.

The problem with that is there are bugs/glitches that existed on deadly alliance that were not fixed for deception. That kind of takes away from that theory of yours again doesn't it.

If they knew about all that then it wouldn't be there - some of these problems were carried over from MKDA, so clearly these people aren't aware of them or they would have fixed or removed them. They even had a chance to redeem themselves when they ported it to the Gamecube, and while some things in the coding can't be fixed, a lot of these things could have been

This is the part you just don't understand. The whole point is to show the superiority of the game. By your logic you should have an easy win over me on deception because I have never played a vs match. Now if deception is such a good game and I can beat you on it, which I'm confidant I could, then you should be able to do the same in tekken 5. I made the bet like this to make it risk free for both of us. You don't think you have a shot at beating me on tekken 5 and you don't and you don't think I have a shot at beating you on deception and sadly I do.

It's a thread not a forum. How can you take shots at my education and intelligence when you don't even know the difference between a forum and a thread. As Tony, krackerjack, dave and many others have said it does help. The fact is, admitted by midway, they do listen to fan input. They have made changes based on that. They do listen. They don't always do a good job of fixing things and it seems to make them worse in a few situations. It's also been proven on other fighting games. The fact is companies listen. You can't accept this it's fine don't but that doesn't make it any less true.

I made my money in EQ for awhile. I quit before the big exploit however that would have made me 200k in about 3 months. Bad timing on my part I guess. Whether you believe people make that much or not I couldn't care less about because I know multiple people who have very recently done that.

The amount of money depends on how many people sign up. If you go to the signups, you can see a grid where it shows how much 1st place wins, 2nd, and 3rd. It won't happen at all if 100 people don't pay, and as of now there is a pathetic number of 6 paid in full. It looks as though all the games or kind of lagging though.

Any update on the progress? I think there's about one month left of voting.

It's not lookin' good... As a matter of fact it's not looking good for any of the games. MKD has 19 people registered and only 7 of those have paid. 7 is the highest number at this point for any game that needs votes. But even the games that are in for sure are lagging. Street Fighter 3rd Strike has the most people paid and it's only at 19. Doesn't seem like too many people are doing this. Either way, MKD doesn't look like it'll be a go, but we'll see... I suppose anything can happen.

From the looks of this thread i think that a FLAMING tournament would be more successfull.
