Fatality counter attack?

What if, IF, you could counter attack upon a fatality. Just when your opponent is about to mutilate your body, there plan back fires when you revive from you dead like trans. You now kill them with a fatal blow. This could be achieved after mastering some sort of story mode.

Thoughts/ Opinions
I've tought of that and I think it was posted a while ago. I think that that would kill the essence of the Fatality.

If you could counter Fatalitys... that would mean you would kill them... and you would win... how does that make sense?

Like, you counter the Fatality, you kill the guy who wins... then you just fall over dead? Then the winner gets ressurected to go to the next match? Man...

Ummmmmmmm..........one word "stupid." What will the point be of fighing two or three rounds to achieve victory over your opponent?

This was all an if, what if. If it does happen, the characters would have to go through some massive training in some mode. Accomplish some sort of feat.

cpu always counters, how could you ever win?

Could be done in a similar fashion to MK3's 'mercy'. If you could pull off a certain combo before the opponent kills you, you regain a slight bit of life to attempt to win with.

I would like it if you were able to do a counter to a fatality to regain a new round. Like a round 4 for one last chance to reedeem yourself and claim victory over your opponent.

In order to do this you must beat the game and level your character up a certain amount in storymode. This feature would only be able in versus mode against another human opponent.

Wouldnt the oppinate be dead when it back fires ?
