Broken masks, ripped clothes, this will deffinatly make up for no fatalities. I just hope the ripped clothing is done simelar to how it was done in Tao Feng, it was excelent.

Funny to finally have someone mention it on this site. But I've always wanted this to happen in MK. It now makes everything more realistic.

i'm really impressed that boon has managed to include such a modern feature into the game... i mean games such as street fighter II with their cutting edge technology are doing this, so it's impressive that Boon can compete with that.

While impressive I don't think it's anything to lose your shit over. Sure it's cool and kind of adds to the brutality level but it is nowhere near a substitute for fatalities.

To me it is. I got the original MK back in 92 on nintendo where everything was censored. So to me I'm happy to just have blood lol. We got blood and gore kick ass costumes ripped clothing six special moves each, sounds good to me.

Which is why I played it in the arcade XD And the costumes are mediocre Scorpion's isn't that bad in action but still not good. I like Sub's though.

I would like ask though what you mean by 'gore', since so far I've only seen is a little blood.

Just be thankful that we HAVE blood in the game and not sweat coming out of your opponent when you attack them. It's at least something.

Thanks ice baby. And I was only two when I got the original mk and I loved it, so you can imagin my shock when I got MK2 when it was released and it had all that blood. And before you guys ask how I can remeber all that I have been blessed with Super memory and can remeber EVERYTHING clearly from two years old and up. So yes, sounds funny but I remeber the releases of ALL the mk games.

Yeah, one of the scans showed the bottom half of Scorpion's mask ripped off with the skull showing. It was insane! DC fans who haven't seen much of Scorpion are gonna love that little detail.

This is a nice feature, makes the fights more realistic and exciting, and adds to the brutality aspect that's been lacking since the absence of Fatalities was announced.

I wonder how much clothing damage they'll allow on the females, lol. Everybody's gonna be fighting Sonya to try and get a look at her double-E's.
