all this sounds like is a glitch to me, but hopefully it is somthing.
and if it is a secret, I do hope it takes a little time and not fast like most ppl want cause we do need some secrets to last, because it sucks when all the secrets are revealed so fast.

I havent tried this yet but have you noticed in the option menu that if you go to blood level you can see the mirror of that selection in the bottom portion of the screen? Mabey leading to something, i dunno..

u guys I really think its a glitch because when I did it all the koins looked as grey as the tombstones.

There's no way in hell that it's a glitch. The letter W does not appear in any other place in the Krypt and yet, with this scrolling trick, it can be seen perfectly formed and in the correct font.
There has to be more to this.

This is really really interesting. It leads me to think it could hold either one of the following. 1) An extra character; example-Kitana or 2) Another arena; example-Sub's Ice Temple. Great find guys!! P.S. Read my sig.

Or, guys it could just be a filler thing that the programmers used for testing and preparation.
The WQ 456 could be a template that they used to build the krypt.
Another example of something similar is the ? on the select screen in DA
They were there to represent something until it was completed with more code or content.
WQ would just be a random koffin that isn't actually in the krypt. That way they couldn't accidentally assign something to it.
456 seems like a generic number and WQ also happen to be the top left two letters on the keyboard.
I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but this is a very likely explanation.

You know I was wondering why the coffin count seemed to end at the T's
Maybe this is telling us that there are many more coffins to discover, perhaps UA ->ZZ?

FuzzyWhisper is correct. If you've done any dabbling in game design, whether simply reading up on it or being a full-on developer, you'd know that an image font that omits letters (say, if a font purposely left out q, x, or z because the developers knew they wouldn't need them, thus saving space), that letter cannot be reproduced as perfectly as the "W" in those Koffins.
Perhaps it's all just a secret joke by the boys at Midway. Or, perhaps not...

We need a couple of experienced hackers and game designers to peep at this and see what they think..
however if this is occuring on both consoles ... then the chances of it being a glitch would be VERY VERY low. However it could be just a teaser...

You guys, I just noticed that you see WQ to the far right when you first enter the krypt. You can also see it out side oyour normal range in the krypt, I noticed this because I have everything unlocked but i can still see lit up koffins far away, and they look like WQ. They all do infact.
P.S.Is it 456 or 156, I cant tell it goes too fast.

It may be possible to unlock the Koffin using a Pro Action Replay... however, I've not found ANY codes for that device yet. My brother wants invincibility and some stuff, and I want codes to play as Jax, Shang Tsung, Onaga, Monster, etc... and know to see if the WQ Koffin is unlockable...

The things you guys are describing all point to what I was saying.
It was just there as a tool they used.
Quick movement makes it visible. When you first enter it's visible.
I'm not saying I am right, but it's a good possibility. Don't get your hopes up.

Wow. my find is causing an uproar here and in gamefaqs, uber... But yes, i too looked into the IGN thing and they mentioned 700 unlockables, Bradygames kombat kodex goes up to Z..... I'm starting to think, WQ in some form or another, is going to lead us to the last set of koffins, up to ZZ, or.... is a hint that there are more koffins.... Either way, we know WQ exists in some form or another, i mean... a Glitch in the form of a WQ Onyx koffin with a coin count of 456 is a bit difficult to just "pop up", it had to have been coded..... I'm gonna be messing around all night in the krypt and see if i can figure something out, i will also be in java chat if anybody wants to help me crack this thing open further

I'm with ya'll. We have all known there would be lots of secrets in here, and it's kind of sad to say lots of secrets when the MK:DA krypt is bigger than Deceptions. Thats "less". Shit is hidden somewhere. We just have to find it. So, in the end of my little speech, yes, I shall help you with your search now that I'm taking a break from online play.

Can some one tell me exactly how you do it, do you go to AA and just hold up, or am I doing something wroung.
