Hey i'm new here and just joined and love the hard work you guys are putting into this unlockable stuff.
As much as i love the MK series...Ed Boon is a bastard..always messing with us with Secret Characters in all..he's got a pattern going..In MK1 everyone thought you could be Reptile or Shang Tsung, MK2 Motaro and Shao Kahn...and it keeps going. It really wouldnt suprise me if there are only like 2 super unlockables but the Konquest Mode is insane...too many lil details. If anyone ever figures out how to get at least one super unlockable..please email or sumthing at thebeardedpenguin@hotmail.com

This probably has nothing to do with this but.... Ill say it anywayz ya i was walking in order realm (A-6 to be exact) I went in this house it had a regular treasure chest in it but when i was moving along the wall i went right into it and was able to get back out. I was just wondering is this a glitch(Most likley is) but im wondering.... SO if u happen to be in order realm and bored Try this.. And again im sorry if its nothing

I noticed a similiar clipping bug in outworld. Down by the docks, near Reiko and Cage, theres a house with a porch with a ramp. But you can get up on it from the left side (while looking at the water)

Why is Eddie Boon have to mess with all of our minds like this. That sick twisted bastard. LOL anyways 1 of the super unlockables has to be accesed after u meditate for a gripper. But i dunno but who ever cracks this case first is a G wit a O in front of it.
i just think these clippings are glitches.. ive seen a woman in Edenia walk in the air just right above me.. so i talked to her and she was back on the ground when it went to the widescreen take mode.. Ive also done this with a man near the cliffs in Edenia.

Have you ever found Mokap in Chaos Realm? Now Thats halariouse OH MY BALLS!

Guys, i have discovered more WQ sightings, it could very well be a place holder, or was designed specifically to narrow our search down to the following... Start from the very top, the T row.... now.. press down 1 at a time and keep watching the very top row....once u count down to the 3rd (or 4th my memory fails me) you will notice the top row turns into WQ 456, with the only koffins that go completely blank being the "gold light ones" or the ones that point us toward the door...now the odd thing is, that once u get to Row A, the upper most row that SHOULD have done the same thng, as in become a WQ row, actually remains as normal, this would be the D row, so i dont know if maybe from DQ, we would count up 4-5-6 or who knows but, im gonna keep tinkering around since i have so many koins it wont make a difference to me...

Is there anyone at all who could get in touch with Boon or someone very close that would know at least if there were secret characters? Keep bugging midway and bradygames

Yeah, enough of this speculation, if we don't find anything or have any theories, we shouldn't post. We need real word from up top. THers no way were gonna find these SU without some hints. WHERE ARE YOU MIDWAY AND BRADY!

More evidence to my theory that it's just a placeholder.
Once the koffins get out of a certain range the programmers reference one koffin for all of the ones that are harder to see.
This saves memory, helps loading, helps keep lag down during movement.
As opposed to displaying all 400 koffins, their name, and their price. They display a smaller number (10 to 25) and reference one single filler for the rest.
I am a programmer, not a game programmer, but a programmer, and I do understand a little bit about memory management.
The fact that they appear only when your holding up from the front and not when you press down from the back proves nothing.
When you are going up. There are more koffins in front of you, so to save memory, they put in WQ for some of those. This also explains why it stops doing it near the back. They don't have nearly as many to display.
When you are moving backwards, they merely put WQ into all the rows that are X number of rows in front of you, because they are hard to see anyway.
And they continue to load the rows that are several rows behind you.
When you are going toward the back there are many more koffins in view. That is why it has trouble keeping up and replacing the WQ with the correct koffin.

there is one house/hut in earthrealm that behind it the walls are red, as stained with blood. i haven't seen any others like this, only one. maybe that's something?
Weel, it could be and could be not.
I don't have the game yet. But i am also a programmer (not games too).
That depends if the memory is "taken" or allocated before entering the Krypt. If so, no Loading time were done in there, except hen you open a coffin (i think).
As i said, i don't have the game yet (Euopr thing).

There are still people that think it's a placeholder?! Wow, you think worse of the programmers at Midway than I thought... lol
Why would it be a placeholder, might I ask? To save memory?! It doesn't save memory, think about it for a second. It actually makes things slower and take MORE memory. Why on earth would a koffin only be loaded once you lock the camera onto it and then unloaded and replaced with a placeholder when you pan the camera away?! For crying out loud it's not a placeholder! If you tell me it's leftover from MK:DA's Krypt because it's basically the same game with added stuff I can buy that, but not a placeholder!
