I saw a picture of the forest, and noticed some trees with faces...is that just part of the design or can you talk to them?

Well we won't know for sure until everyone helps out and does their part and works on cracking this thing. If I skip it and think it's a glitch, I'm gonna feel like an ass if someone cracks it like a week later.

Actually, it may actually be a glitch, notice as the tomb stone has no definate form. In all the screen captures you see, it is a different tomb stone.
It may be that Midway had a glitch in the game when scrolling fast up koffins and just used that to replace it.
I hope not though, I'd really like to unlock Reptile or Rain through this.

however boon did make a huge speculation about deception having a near imposible thing to crack. he says he knows nothing of it and if something was in there it was put in by a programmer without him knowing. i'm thinking it's a way to unlock more koffins.

This is Ed Boon...remember...he never sticks to his word...I wouldn't break your balls trying to figure this shit out, because it might not even be there...if it is, you will hear about it soon...being the first to find it isn't worth the labor, especially if there isn't anything...
I imagine that if there are any super unlockables that Sektor is among them simply because Boon was bitched at when he came on the site for awhile, because he cut Sektor out of the MKDA roster just before releasing the game...I honestly don't see how Sektor wouldn't make this game, because there are so many others people complained about that made it, but I think Sektor was probably the one most complained about the last 2 years on here...along with maybe Smoke...
I don't really care unless I hear 'I Found Cyrax Unlocked'...some of the pointless characters that made this game confuse me alot when it comes to 'super unlockables' and which story they are going by...take Sub Zero, for example...his rivalry with Mavado was built up heavily, but now Sub Zero and Saibot have one? eh...one of the worst things with fighting games...the makers never stick with the story, thats one thing MK tended to have over the others---a great story, but its starting to get a bit annoying...

What was WQ in Deadly Alliance? Maybe it's a character missing from Deception but in Deadly Alliance...

in DA, WQ in the Krypt was just koins, onyx i think

Maybe this has been uncovered already, but I found a key in the neatherrealm that didn't have a specific koffin assigned too it?
Is it used primarily just to unlock a door IN the neatherrealm, or is it/has it been used in the krypt?
This might be old news, but i've had this key for a few days now, and haven't found a lock for it (to be honest though, I wasn't really trying)

Ok, I don't think it's anything. I was very opened minded at first, but, if you go down a line and look on the tombstones to the left and right, they also appear with WQ. It's quite possible, as someone alreay said, that the koffin WQ is merely a "place holder" for the koffin's behind you. I mean, you can't see what's behind you. I don't know why they would need a place holder... but I am quite certain that this is nothing.

OK, regarding super unlockables, I've beaten the game with all the characters and opened all the koffins. Still haven't gotten WQ. Also, have no idea about Kochal or Johnny cage and "Goro/Fugin?" in the lava near the ruins. I definitely think that fugin and stryker are unlockable because their name appear in the opening menu's sky when you scroll down. It would also make sense to me that anyone you actually fight in Konquest would in some way be unlockable, because why make a fighting character and not let people play as them?

I might be on to something does anyone know anoter real except for the nether to fight quan chi ?

Dont know if this will help s on the search but coffin WQ in MK:DA gives you 78 Onyx coins. That means the number goes 45678....??
