If your character is consider one of the good guys or a neutral, have his/her mirror image look extremely evil. If your character is a bad guy, make the mirror image look holy. For example: Your character is Sonya, in the mirror match out of the mirror comes Sonya in spike heels, leather, chains, etc and red or green glowing eyes. If your character is Shang Tsung, your mirror image will be him looking like a holy man with a faint white glow around him. |
I think this idea kiks ass. It could also lead up to an alternate costume u could unlock for all the characters. I think it would be sweet if Boon incorporated this idea into MKD..........

I loved the "Mirror Match" in MK1 and having it come back at a stage where there are actually mirrors is not only cool, but makes sense. And the ideas of having the warriors being teleported to different stages is cool, but the teleportations should only make the warriors fight secret characters--otherwise, it'll just be like in MK3 when players could be uppercutted to different stages. And, once the battle with the secret character is over, the warrior is transported back to the Mirror Match arena and the fight continues right where it left off--like the game had been put on PAUSE or something.
But, to further enhance the Mirror Match, how about the fighter having to look at several copies of himself at once, but only ONE of them is the REAL mirror image?
