Anyway, the whole noob site, with the 8's, the Clock with Batman, and now this? If you ask me, this is no coincidence, and explaines why there are no renders for the 2 characters revealed by gamespot/mk pod cast. They did it to keep with the 8's.

Now why did they do it? My best bet is E3, that there will be 8 playable characters, not just the 6 confirmed. If you are into finding "secret" things, I hope this helped.

1) Whether you believe them all or not, there seems to be a lot of 8s in the renders

2) Gotham City's render has a clock set to 8:08

3) In the number of miles to the moon on noob.com, the 3 8s are highlighted in red

4) In the original wordsearch, in the 11th row, 9th column, there is one 8 that is a single digit. The entire rest of the puzzle is two digits.

Did I miss anything? The number 8 IS significant. Dunno why. I should also point out that in Boon's GT interview last week, he doesn't really seem to know what number of MK they are on. So I don't think it's just referring to this being MK8.

I know this has probably been discussed to death, but I'm going to bring it back up anyway .

The animals that were on boon's site a while back, whose first letters spelled the word RAGE, I think there's still something to that. My first reaction was that there would be a "Rage Meter" or something similar in the game. It could be a meter that could be built up to release an awesome combo, a la Street Fighter Alpha, or maybe perform a fatality for an instant kill. I think both of these would add a whole new level of strategy to the game.

I want to hear what some of you guys think about the RAGE clue. Like I said, I'm sure this has been discussed numerous times, but I'm far too lazy to wade through the sixteen pages of threads I found using the search function.

i was thinking about the 16 ? marks and the hidden charaters in the previous mortal kombat games how reptile was the super hidden charater in mk1 mk2 had jade, noob, and smoke, mk3 had cyber smoke, umk3 had meelina, ermac, classic sub zero, mk4 had goro,and meat, mkda had blaze and mokap, mkd had monster, mka had taven, dagon and mk gold had sektor and that leaves one more charater

I think there is a hidden sublink or something with noob.com, there must be hints somewhere and we must use them to find that sublink...

If there only was a way to easily find sublinks
