It looks like MK:Deception is taking place in Outworld,so we probably wont be seeing many Earthrealm warriors.Which means I probably wont be seeing two of my most favorite female fighters,Frost and Sonya

Hopefully Frost and Sonya will be confirmed.But right now I can only hope.

What exacly has Sonya done that's so much greater then the accomplishments of Jax? Not to mention that Sonya had a lower ranking then Jax in MK 2 then all of a sudden she is higher then him. That doesn't make much sense...

I would like to see Sonya and Frost return to resume their little rivalry.

As I said eariler about Sonya's ending in MK:DA. So she'll probably come back for MK7. Sektor's ending in MK:TE on GBA tells of his clan spreading throughout Japan and Asia. If these two endings were true. This may be a reason for Sonya to come back in MK7. As she would be dealing with terrorist threats on Earth and Sektor's clan as they are evil could be potential terrorists.

All she has done throughtout the MK games will surely have helped her become a General. Besides, is there anyone better suited to be a General?

I hope Sonya is in MKd. She is one of my favourite characters. She has owned in all the games she has been in and MKDA was no exception. She is one of the best. She is a strong female character but could do with an imprved story.

As head of the special forces, we should see her in MKD fighting against the new threat. She has this status now and should be shown working in it.

*shrugs* I alway pictured Jax as more of the drill sarg/foot soldier that gets the job done but doesn't seem to get/want any higher rank. The so-called career soldier that rarely if ever makes officer. While Sonya is the type who wants the higher ranks and works to get them. She might have even been in ROTC when she was younger and was always on the track for the brass.

Its clear Sonya is a fan fave. I do agree she can get killed but still, she has WAY to much fans for that to happen. It would horribly piss a lot of the Mk community.

Sonya is an integral part for the team, an important element in the game.

IF she is NOT in deception, I wouldn’t worry, I will see her in MK7.

That's funny! I remember reading somewhere that the reason Jax was introduced in MK2 was because MK1 not only had feminists and parents bitching about the game's violence, but it also had African Americans protesting against the game "because there was no black character in the game." It might've been on GameSpot's history of video game violence thing that included Mortal Kombat that was posted on the news here a while back.

I agree with this. That is exactly the way I view these two. I always imagined Sonya went to military school while she was young and then continued up into her adult years to become who she is now. Like the armed forces is in her blood ya know?

THAT IS very interesting.

Does anyone remember the look PSM gave sonya for their Mortal kombat special Forces cover.
It was a throwback to her original Mortal komabt look, but only a million times better.
If she's in decpeiton the team should give her that look as alternate costume with her sexy tough chick look form deadly alliance and finally a stealth body suit would be cool for a third outfit.
Regarding JAX I thoug he was cool in Mortal komabt 2 and 3 but he became lame in 4 and deadly alliance.
Especially with his gun moves and his " oh yeah's"
they made his charcter seem like a joke.
Sonya is way better than him in deadly alliance.
