I agree but with everything else the game has with it don't you think it may too much memory to have somthing as in depth as that. Midway would know it would be lame to make them generic but just to fit everything else on it they may get lazy anyway.

i dont know to tell you the truth it took smackdown a while to come out with good create a wrestler attribute and because they continued to work on it it got better but since this is mk fist Caw mode i dont know what to expect

Hey I just thought of something... in the interview with Boon in PSM didn't he say "Santa,Ryu, Ken, barney the dinosaur"..etc. would be in the game. Could this be hinting at the freedom you'd get in the Kreate a Karacter mode?

I, for one, am expecting there to be ALOT more details and concent than there was in WWF, i'm expecting WAY more, this is advanced consoles we're talking here.

For the face, i'm hoping you can stretch it to what you want it to look like and how you want it to be. I'm hoping theres a skin colour selection (or a tone), and different coloured eye pupils to choose from. I also hope you can choose if you want to make your character big, small, fat, huge, ETC.

I hope there are a variety of clothing styles to choose from, and what colours you want it to be (again, this is where the colour tone comes into play). This goes for shoes, clothes, masks, pants, accessories, ETC.

I'm not saying you should choose all this right away, of course not. Your going to be finding all sorts of clothing and weapons and such, but i'm just saying that all IMO of these things i mentioned need to be part of finding and adressing it onto your character.

Have you played "here comes the pain"? I wasn't talking about the first Smackdown... here comes the pain was just as in depth as what you just explained and was on a next generation system.

I've never played "Here comes the pain", but if it had tons of options for the create a character, then MK's should to, and if they put alot of effort into it, maybe even more. Hopefully Ed and them wont get lazy with this like they did by putting Mokap and Blaze in MKDA.

but still going back to the "santa", etc. thing. Does anyone else think this could be a reference to kharacters you can create because in here comes the pain I know the had things where you could make characters such as Goku from DBZ. Do you think this is where Mk is headed?

Realistically I'm thinking that the custom character will come in 7-10 categories (male ninja, female ninja, lizardman, nomad, etc.). Maybe the characters will have more than one outfit - no more than three. Then there will have to be palette swaps for skin, hair and outfits. And perhaps 30 or so "a la carte" items like those from VF4. I think those factors combined should be more than enough to make one's custom character unique.

There is no way that the Kreate a Kharacter will be near as good as HCTP. There wouldn't be room for it in the game. If by some stroke of luck it is like HCTP, I will be a KAK maker for this game like I am a premier CAW maker for HCTP.

what about masks?

I think I'd still like more freedom... I have alot of creative ideas for characters and I would appreciate enough space to make them as close to my vision as possible.

I think there should be many many options. I hope they have many types of hair styles, clothing, accesories, so every character could look different. I wonder how many you will be able to create?? Will the password thing come back?

hehe yeah well judging from your sig and pic I'd assume at least one of your characters would be pretty well endowed.

grrrrrrrr .... I too remember reading (i think ign) that you can "Decorate your fighter" with "trinkets". I'll say this , I would love for it to be super customizable, but if its not, Im not getting disapointed.

With the X-box harddrive and the hdd fot the PS2 they could add as much to MKD as they want.Everyweek or so Boon could add several outfits,fighting styles,hair styles,pretty much whatever the MK team want's they could add.But will they get lazy,I don't think so.After all the flack they caught for not adding as much as they could in MKDA I don't think they will make the same mistake.I think Konquest will be very deep,from what Boon said in the PSM it will take a very long time for you to build up your character.It could take weeks for you to build a solid fighter.And once you are finally done you will be rewarded by being able to use your created character in any mode on the game even online.That alone tells me Boon will have to make creating your own character as deep as posible,because he knows MK fans dont want to fight a million pallette swaps of each other!

I hope Boon and crew will go all out on the Konquest mode and add as much as they can."There is no point to half step,if your going to bring it,bring it strong or not at all!"
