I agree his costume in mkd is horrible. I hope in mka they put in his original costume.

My prediction, as I've said before, is the One Being imprisoned Raiden, and created an imposter(Dark Raiden).That would make sense.

Hmmmmmm..... I like Dark Raiden more because it is a story twist for him. His story never been that great imo, but this Dark Raiden stuff helped his story out a lot.

Like with Liu Kang dieing in MKDA.... I hated that so much cuz he is my fav character, but I forgive them cuz that actually made Liu Kang's story overall better cuz of the big twist.

Anyways I like Dark Raiden.

I have no idea what demographic they are trying to reach with this darker equals cooler shit but it's getting out of control. Giving a character red eyes and black clothes while making him go against everything the character has stood for, after very little provocation at all, isn't really much of a plot twist and it sure as hell isn't character development.

Well to me atleast his story has been more so on the boreing side and uninteresting. I've always liked Raiden, so don't get me wrong, he is my fav to play as in MK1. Though his story is just more so boreing.... Well the whole Dark Raiden thing made his story much more interesting to me. Really though most characters, if not all, in MKD had a big twist in their story. Noob-Saibot being Sub-Zero's brother, the original Sub-Zero.... Liu Kang comeing back as a zombie.... I think they just wanted to twist up the story for every character in MKD. I think they did a great job.

I prefer the original Raiden more than the evil one. Raiden, being a God of his charactor, could not be influenced into becoming bad in my opinion. I think they did the charactor a great disservice.

I kinda like him in his dark costume, gives him a better image. More threatening look, it could be, because in the beggining of the game, the intro shows Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, and Raiden allowing their powers together, and forming an alliance, which could have made Raiden a bit on the darker side, from helping out his foes defeat the Dragon King.

Dark Raiden is a mistake I think Midway made.. He should stay in his Light Costume, but hey! it is his alternate anyway so no worries..

I agree. Dark Raiden is dumb. I think Light Raiden looked alot better. Plus, why would Raiden turn bad just because Earth was almost destroyed? Thats even dumber then his MKD alt! If I was a elder god and someone almost destroyed the Earth BY ACCIDENT (as you may remember, Shujinko was tricked) then that would make me work harder to protect it, and see to it that nobody else is tricked into doing this. NOT KILL THE GUY AND TRY TO DESTROY THE EARTH WITH HIM.

Yeah! He should revert back to being a good protector god rather than this violent sinister god who kills anyone in his path with good or bad intentions.
