i dont think its right what they did to raiden, or lui kang for that matter, i think it looks kooler but what they did was just stupid, raiden would never kill a human!

Finally someone who agrees with me that the so-call Dark Raiden is the worse move they ever made in regards to updating existing characters. I'm most likely one of if not the biggest Raiden fangirl out there and I hate the new dark look. I understand some changes and perhaps him being pissed off but to make him almost totally chaotic as he is now is just not right. He looks like he belongs in Chaosrealm rather than Earthrealm.

I'm hoping this is just some story twist and that is not the real Raiden just some imposter. Or that there is something seriously wrong with him and he eventually gets cured. But with Midway aiming for a darker theme now for MK I serious doubt either is a possiblity and that the new Dark Raiden is here to stay at least for now.

I think Dark Raiden is one of the better characters in the game. It's cool how they took the generic "good" guy and made him evil. It was a good choice on their part. They should've given him dark moves instead though but keeping them very Raiden!

Speculatively-speaking, there's the theory that Raiden's essence was corrupted with Quan Chi's "evil taint" as he traversed the Void back to Earthrealm; not exactly a "fuse", but he's succumbing to the corruption with aggressive outbursts and a suddenly revised perception on protection, nonetheless. I've always been fond of this as it works with what both you and I want to become of Raiden, this phase really can't stick for long.

On-topic, perhaps dark Raiden doesn't like you all that much, either... now that was just corny.

I don't like the look of Dark Raiden. I like how he looked in teh intro movie to Deception. His alternate in MKD is much much worse, too.

i agree in mkd his cost was not as gd but he had to sacri fice himself to try and kill onaga and his only way to come back was to come back as dark raiden but radien id still one of my fav people

I agree the costume in mkd is horrible. I hope in mka that they put in his original costume.
