i got a crazy idea..

To steer away from the Ign news I've come up witha idea it hit me while playing mortal kombat 2 remember when there was no pause button and you had to go the the WC and you were fighting Kahn with no more continues left. Well Should MKD not have a pause button it seems small at first but it would add that nostalgic kinda flava and it would sharpen your skills. I hope I can redeem my self with this thread if anyones seen my one in General Discussion. Anyway what are your thoughts??

Better yet. There should be an option to turn the pause feature off. I get what you mean by sharpening one's skills. I'd prefer an option feature.

Thanks man It's the small things that count. And it should be an option feature i know having no pause button for mk2 was a killer but it sharpened my skills but until mkt they had a pause button and it just quite wasnt the same thanks for the words later man take care.

It depends on how difficult the game ends up being. If the main game is extremely difficult, then I think there should be pausing between matches(I think that was the case in MK1, actually). But the movelists should be available in versus mode, still.

If they wanted to add the option of disabling the pause feature, fine.... but if they'd remove it altogether, I'd be pretty pissed, to be honest. IMO the added excitement or whatever isn't nearly worth the inconvenience.

There are various times when I need to scratch myself in certain areas that is what the pause button is for. I say keep it.

It would really suck if you had to take a pee and there was no pause button grin

I like this idea because I found it really annoying when I fought my friends and they kept pausing the game and stopping the fight over and over again to look at their move list.

I would like a feature to turn the pause option off to end that or mabey just have the move list available in practice mode like in MK4?

No, this is inconvinient. If they had that, I'd be very pissed and probably install it in the bathroom. Play MKD while sitting on the crapper.

I can say that it is good and bad to have a pause feature. Good to take a bathroom break. Bad to play online and pause to figure out a combo to use against other players. Maybe a feature just to pause without having the combo menu online would be best.

I completely agree. I want to be able to go to the bathroom when I want, without losing matches and what not. The only place there shouldn't be a pause option is online, since losers would just pause the game until you leave out of disgust, and then kick your ass.

You have to have a pause feature, any game without it was made by Satan.

...However! No pausing during online play to check the freakin movelist! THAT will be annoying and increase the amount of people quitting mid-match. Learn the damn game before you start going into the realm of online play.

LMAO..

I think that it should be an option. The idea of going back to the old days when you weren't able to pause inside matches is not necessarily a BAD idea. Though, as you've read, not for everyone. So I think that it should be able to be toggled in options. Those who want to go through with out it can..those who don't (I'm one of these) won't be pissed off.

This is good thanks for your input. I hate it to when im playing my friends and they have to stop every 15 seconds to look at the movelist its not that hard to figure out. But like I originally said it should be a option but thanks for the imput. And sadly I dont have PSOnline aww well take care!
