Just curious, I want to ask the real question...
what happened to 'Da man' Quan Chi?

They can't kill an important character like him.

It is confirmed that the bald guy is in fact Sub-Zero in his alternate costume. The article only says that there will be multiple fatalities per character (2 being the least) and one "hari kari" move per character.

Damn, someone with a scanner needs to get this mag and help us out here! And, no not post them on the site, but just tell us where to go to find them.

In the intro (I suppose) it will be explained that it happened with Shang Tsung and Quan Chi... I suppose that died and managed to escape respectively, so that Scorpion follows in the game.

For Dragula21:
In the image of Baraka versus Sub-Zero, this were seen him the torn trousers... are more images thus, than they confirm that in this MK if the clothes will be torn?

No problem, man. I enjoy posting on this board. And no, they make no mention of Quan Chi, HOWEVER in the pic with the MK characters on the chess board, it looks as if Quan Chi might be one of them. Can't really tell though, it is a bit grainy.

A long while ago people were asking/came up with the idea of suicide move. IMO the idea is both good and bad, it add's the realism as samuari, and ninjas generally would not let their oppent capture or kill them, but also it's gonna be kinda dumb if you can never do a fatality because of it... They SHOULD work this hari kari move like mercy in UMK3, only in the third round.. that way if you just suck you won't be able to kill yourself.

MKD sounds great,Im going to make sure to buy this game the first week it's out.MKD sounds like it's going to be the first fighting game to have create a charcters.

I can't really tell in any of the pictures if there is more torn clothing or not, very hard to tell. If they did work something out like the Mercy move from UMK3 to coincide with the hari kari moves, that would work pretty well too. I don't really like how you have to "race" against your opponent in order to perform a Fatality.

I'm sorry man, I have no idea when the mag comes out in Canada, I'm from Chicago. I really wish I could help ya, but this site is bound to get the scans up sometime soon.

sweet! so the Dragon King is the final boss afterall. i just hope that he has Shao-Khan-esque strength. Chi and Tsung hit like a coupla girls. i need someone to rub my head in the pavement. can't say i'm a fan of that Hari-Kari move though. i would never just kill myself. if i was weak enough to be beaten then i deserve to be put out of my misery like a true warrior. at least, that's how i feel. i just wonder how a certain Lieberman would feel about "children being influenced to kill themselves."

I'm just glad they combined all the extra's into one mode and tieing it all together.

This information is seriously enough for me to hold on. Im hoping that no serious images of the game or any huge details are further revealed. It's also great to hear we're actually getting those long waited secrets that we didn't see from MK:DA.

I also never in a million would expect an option to kill yourself. I flamed someone for that once and I hang my head in shame.. I'm hoping the suicides are indeed all different and makes you wanna watch them as bad as a normal fatality. I just think of Cyrax' self destruct.

Yeah, I am a bit skeptical about the Hari Kari move as well. Lieberman will have a field day with this one. I hope it gives him so much trouble he has a heart attack and dies.

I do believe Boon says that every character will have their own unique Hari Kari move.
