i though it was new because the article was posted in 2004 in may and it looked a little paler than in mk4 (kang hasn't been dead for very long so i doubt he's already a rotting skeleton so his skin would at least be a little more pale) but i think you guys are right

That's MK4 Liu Kang, no boubt about it.

For MKD, they are going to have a new model of him, they won't use the same one from MK4.

I speak spanish and it's not a MK:D render, it's just a MK4 render, and the article is just a bit of liu kang's history through the games, and they are just making some thoughts on what will be of him in the future game, so i dont wanna be a aprty pooper but nothing of MK:D.

wtf dude, it was already a big mistake for killing him in deadly alliance and it would make it even worse if they didn't put him back in deception. taking out liu kang (or turkey boy) from mortal kombat would be like taking superman out of the justice league. so it wouldn't be good to take the most powerfullest guy in the game out just so that a punk like you will be happy while others suffer. (besides, they already said that he was in the game, retard)

Dude, it's definately cool. I'd rather not know what Liu looks like until I have the game. So it'll leave a little bit of mystery.
