Motaro is dead, and I thought he was one of the worst characters of the series.

I think Kintaro's dead too (not sure) but it would be nice to see him again, and give him more storyline.

I liked motaro alot. He was pretty cool. He was different. I hope he would be back for MK6. It would be real cool fighting a creature like him in 3D. It would probably really hard to beat him since he could probably run and stuff.

I would much rather have a new beast.

Supposedly, Kintaro is dead. I think Raiden's MKTrilogy story mentioned something about Raiden destroying him. But of all the Monster sub-bosses, I would want Kintaro back most of all. He was one hell of a challenge.

Yes. I would like to see Kintaro return, Though really i'd like to see ANY Shokan in MK:D.

I also remember Kintaro from MK2. Basic scenario using Sub-Zero: Freeze, Slide, Punch like hell... Run away! :🔁:

Me to, i wouldnt mind seeing another shokan return. But if i had to pick between kintaro or motaro, i would choose kintaro. He just seemed more bad ass and brtual. Seeing him in 3D would kick aZZ!

They never said Kintaro was dead. This is Kintaro's basic bio:

Kintaro - A half-man, half-tiger, he was a member of Outworld's Shokan race. With Goro missing after his defeat by Liu Kang, Kintaro stepped up to take his place as Supreme Ruler of Shao Kahn's armies. Stronger and more agile than his predecessor, Kintaro was enraged by Goro's defeat. He vowed to take revenge on the Earth warriors responsible. He was defeated in the Outworld tournament and lost his position as General. Kahn appeared to lose faith in the Shokan warriors, giving their power to the Shokan's natural enemies, the Centaurs, during his invasion of Earth.

So this could mean he was emprisoned, or banished, never mentions his death. Id defintily like to see him return if any previous sub boss. Same with Motaro, I always thought he was and looked hardcore. Id prefer a new character altogether.

In MKDA it mentions that Sheeva fought and killed Motaro. That was right before Kano met Sheeva and double crossed her to Shao Kahn

I know that Jax fought Kintaro in Mortal Kombat II, it was said that Jax was the strongest man on Earth and he tried testing his might against the mighty Shokan warrior. I don't know the outcome of the fight but my guess is that Jax lost but lived and was ashamed in himself. Therefore Jax came back with the metalic implants in his arm to boost his strength up for his defence against Shao Kahn's extermination squads led by the Centaurs.

I think Sheeva killed Motaro right in front of Kano's eyes and released Kano from capture. This probably happened shorty after Kano was thrown off of a building by Sonya. In Kano's conquest it was said that Sheeva and him marched to Shao Kahn's throne in an assasination attempt but Kano betrayed her and led her to die by having Shao Kahn stab Sheeva in the heart. Kano gained Shao Kahn's trust yet again and was promoted to being a general in his armies among the ranks of Reptile and Noob Saibot.

Motaro is way better than Kintaro. Both are dead though. Somewhere it said that Kintaro was vaporized by Raiden and Motaro was killed by the weaker warrior Sheeva

Kahn is the number one guy I want back but I would like to see Kintaro and Motaro back too.

Kintaro is not dead.. HES NOT *crying ...... Anyways.. There has never been anything said about Kintaro actually dying. He was defeated... defeated... defeated.. no matter what you read it says he was defeated.. I seriously doubt they will bring him back.. but hot damn would that be cool!

Nothing in Raiden's MKT storyline mentions him killing Kintaro. It just says he took mortal form risking his immortallity to fight for earth. Nothing in his ending or instruction manual bio says anything about this either. Trust me, Kintaro was my favorite sub-boss and I would have noticed if it metioned him him being killed in MKT's storyline, seeing as MKT was one of my favorite MK games.

I've heard vague rumors about one of the game's instruction manuals suggestion Kintaro's death or defeat, but thats about all the info available about him since MK2. His MKT bio was just a rehash of the MK2 one word for word.

I'm not very excepting of plot devices metioned in instruction manuals either, since they tend to be inaccurate. MKDA's manual claims Kano was still serving a very much alive Shao Kahn during the events of MKDA, Rain's bio in MKT manual was COMPLETELY different than the in-game one. IMO Midway could take either route on Kintaro being dead or alive, since there's no strong evidence that he's dead. Much more easily than Goro/Motaro/Kahn.

I'm 95% sure there is a confirmed source that says Raiden electrifyed Kintaro to the point of ashes. That doesn't leave much room open for survival.
