Meh, I would join...but I used the same Combos kinda over and over again....not all the time...but With people like Scorpion and Raiden....I use the same tacticd to win...here how it is...

I ussualy start out with moving around the arena, then circling on you...

Square,Square,Triangle....

You get up, and I hit the X Button, with the Axe Kick, followed by a Spin kick, using O. Then, I teleport over to youre side and punch ya....followed by a Kick ( Up and O) and then connect with the Flaming Hell Move ( Down, Left, Triangle) Then, I connect with a sweep....Ussualy, the Opponent bvy now doesnt get a hit, but around now...They would connect...so I Hold down the Block Button and Left to complete with a Breaker, and then throw my spear at the opponent...then I connect with a Flipping Flame Kick, and Take out my Sword to finish up the job that hasnt been done....It always works...but I lose with it online when I play against the Same opponent over and over again....I dont have Online anymore though!

Well, theres really no reason to get upset over people who throw/ overhead strike. Theres a way around anything in MKD no matter how "fool-proof" it seems. Theres a little thing called side-step which really comes in handy. If that doesnt work go in quick with big combos and dont give them a chance to retalliate or attack with throws right back at them. Im not saying im "perfect" in MK, but I can tell you that everyone who has beaten me in MKD, Ive been able to beat at least once in Deception. Just have a tactic ready for every kind of player and you'll be fine.

Congratulations, you've publically, right there, admitted to having less skill that those YOU TALK SHIT ABOUT, who can utilize the ENTIRE game for what its worth. And you know what? Right now, I have over 900+ wins. I'm not by FAR the best, because I also have approx. Im DEFINATELY not bragging, just trying to prove a point. 340+ losses. HOWEVER, I'm not the worst, and I can hold my own againt just about ANYONE. Now, I'm not going to mention anything in specifics, but FROM THIS POINT ON, every time I see somoene online with the letters "PWH" in them, I'm going to PURPOSELY THROW the SHIT out of them, and then corner cheese them until they 'honorably' quit the game. JUST because your an idiot.

And just so you know, a long time ago, there was a modem for the SNES called XBAND. We played MK3 online. They had 'groups' on that too, I was in one of them. There was P.I. (Politically Incorrect) with extraordinarily skilled players. And there was also -D-, which stood for DEATH. They had some of the best players literally in the entire country in it. Tournaments were won left and right by members of both groups. I was a member of -D-. (DooMsDaY oF -D-) SPEAKING FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, groups will not work out. Egos will get in the way, everyone will want to be the 'leader' of the group, etc, etc.

Base your games on SKILL, but guess what? Some skill involves throws, special moves, and yes, sometimes, even cheese. IF YOU CAN'T HANG WITH THE BIG BOYS, play Tekken. If you got what it takes, stop whining and bitching like a chick who just bled on her brand new white sheets, and PLAY THE GAME THE WAY THE DESIGNERS MEANT FOR IT TO BE PLAYED.

In closing, here's the bottom line. Your 'beliefs' of this game are ignorant, and I WILL play you sons of bitches. And guess what? IF I HAVE TO, just for fun, I will change my gamertags REPEATEDLY, just so I can play you ALL again, and CHEESE THE SHIT OUTTA YOU!!

when a guy is just standing there blocking what the hell does this honor group do? Throws were put in for a reason, so that theres a tactic against people who play too defensively. Speacial moves are great, especially against someone whos head isn't in the game. Nothing like spearing someone from a full screen distance to wake someone up. Also, in some cases they add to combos. Quite frankly if you don't like special moves you're playing the wrong game. I could see not liking death traps... that would make sense as being "cheap" but throws and specials.... also, as far as letting your opponent up... well, if I was fighting someone who did that I'd probably lose more because I get a hell of a lot of offence out of rolling to the side after being knocked down and kicking the tar out of an opponent striking blindly at the air. Anyway, my best advice is to play more and learn the tactics to avoid these newbie tricks. Play people who use the cheese tactics you hate the most. In a few months time you'll be getting Flawless Victories over these n00bs.

To address all the idiots that came and had to open their mouths about what a "noob" I am, and so forth, I have the following to say:

First off, there is a great element of luck to surviving a fight in MKD at times. When a persistant player using someone broken like Scorpion knocks you down (and don't you DARE claim to be so good it doesn't happen to you), they rush on in before you can get up and begin attacking again. Most of the time if you duck and block to aviod a potential throw, you get hit by an overhead attack you did not have enough time to predict. Do not tell me I'm an idiot. This is a SERIOUS problem with players abusing cheap shots. If you DON'T DUCK and block, you're VERY, VERY likely to be thrown.

That's it. Luck. You have to guess what the other guy's gonna do and hope you got it right before he rapes you AGAIN.

My clan doesn't do this. Ever. Hate it if you want to, but if we ever play you, and we let you get back up fairly, you'll appreciate it when it's convenient to.

I've been in the mid-low 2-300's consistently for the past few days. I've played over 91 matches with my new PWH tag, and I've used less than 25 special moves and throws combined. Don't you fucking tell me I'm a noob. My win ratio is at least 3:1, and that's WHILE limiting myself to a LOT less moves than you people cheese with. Who's the noob?

Some genius thought he'd be a hotshot and tell me how to do a three hit combo...

My damage record online is currently 67%, and I've also done 54% (many, many times), 61%, and 62%. That's not three hit crap. I've landed 50% with Baraka (not the easiest thing to do), over 40% with Dairou, etc. And only for Baraka's 50% did I use a special move.

The rest of that is pure skill. I can eat most of you alive with just sidestepping and hitting your dumb asses in the back. Skill is not determined by merely winning. ANYONE can grab Dairou and ground pound a million times, or abuse the Stink Cloud with N-S to their miserable little heart's content.

ANYONE CAN DO THIS.

How many of you can take the rank 60 guy on PS2 Online out 5/8 times without one special or grab?

Keep rushing your downed enemies and unloading on them before they can realistically defend themselves. Because "skill" is kicking a man when he's down. Being "good" is punching a retard if it proves how strong you are when he cries.

Keep throwing every time the other guy taps the block button because without that R1 button, you'd NEVER land that 18% damage you just took... for the EIGHTH time that round alone.

Keep waiting for the guy to ease off block and swing at you before unleasing the stink cloud or spin dash. Keep tossing cannon drills at people at close range, so they don't have time to duck and block. That's all good.

You're winning. And who cares if you're winning sort of like a racer tripping his opponent is. You're "winning". That's swell.

I'd rather lose a few times and know I'm a good and fair player than win every time and be a total dick to get there. Yeah, I'd like rank one. Sure. But not at the expense of gaming ethics. If you don't want to play decently, you don't deserve the privelege of video games.

I just wanted to make one last point:

We in PWH do NOT "refuse" to play people that use moves and/or throws.

We refuse to play people that blatantly ABUSE specials. If you use cold shoulder every time your opponent blinks, you suck. Nobody wants to put up with that shit. Even the best can't possibly predict EVERY single time you pull that lightning fast crap out of the drawer.

If you grab your enemy more than a time or two a round, you're weak, and can probably not hit the guy any other way. There are better ways to play.

I don't force my rules down anyone's throats. I defend the logic behind them online when people attack us for it. But I know I can't MAKE them play reasonably. So I don't try to.

What I'm trying to do is get all the people who are tired of being frozen, thrown, suckered into an ice clone, thrown, etc. over and over and over again to come out of the crowd and say they're tired of retarded gameplay. To join up a bit and be different. To try to have fun in fairness.

You've probably never played a match like that. EARNING that win is a nice feeling. We often do no blocking matches within the little clan, just to keep our sidestepping skills sharp. That's fun.

Skill isn't exploiting someone's mistake so much as it is not making your own. And if you can't block, you can't make a mistake very often.

Either way, we keep to our rules. Whether or not you like it. More often than not, we win, too. Whether or not YOU keep to them. It will always be that way.

Grow up, to those of you that will go out of your way to pick fights with us and spam us because we like our way better. What the FUCK do you think you'll prove that way?

This is why I miss the glory days of the arcade. If someone had a problem with the way you played, and they started to cry about it, you could deal with the problem right then and there. I used to go to this one arcade where this one guy was notorious for talking smack when he lost. He'd usually accuse people of turtling/running away, and get in their face about it. So yeah, one time he did that to this pretty small guy. The small guy ignored him, walked away, picked up a stool, and whacked him across the back.

Of course, you could take a less violent route route and be like a friend of mine that plays Street Fighter 3. If someone starts to complain about being thrown by him, he'll make it a point to beat that person with mainly throws. It's actually pretty funny to watch, 'cause it requires a tremendous amount of skill to pull off and you can totally tell that he's reading his opponent like a popup book.

Last night, I played a kid that was 22-0 in chess. He bragged and complained in the same breath that he beat the #1 chess player. But before the match was over the guy yanked the plug from his modem. I'm not too bad and decided to play him. The match took over an hour and I had taken every piece except the grunt he had on a power cell. As I was finishing him, he yanked the plug keeping his spotless record.

THIS IS CHEESE, NOT SKILL

I-ZEUS-I is the kids name on PS2. Flame him all night long if you see him. Anyone that picks Nightwolf as their grunt and does two throws in a row followed by lightning then another throw has no skill. And abusing that has no skill either. PLUS HE COMPLAINED WHEN I DID A COMBO!!!

HE11BOY (or HEIIBOY) was the next kid I played. Again with the Nightwolf grunts.... only worse. And this kid had the nerve to call me a pussii in the chat room! So he used his cheap throw/lightning/charge/throw, throw, throw combo to take both power squares. Even with both power squares, I beat him because the only character he knew moves with was Nightwolf. His leader was Sub-Zero and I waxed him! And still after the match he claimed he was the winner?

I've got no problem with an occasional throw every now and then. I don't personally use them because they are cheap and unblockable. But anyone that uses them exclusively is lame. GET OFFLINE AND LEARN A COMBO OR TWO.

And if you live in the same town as I-ZEUS-I or HE11BOY, punch them in the face for me! Or, just don't play with them.

Throws are meant for people who block. Thats why they are there.

Letting your opponent get up is the dumbest thing I ever heard. They can easily get up without you letting them. You are playing a fighting game in which the biggest prize is winning. So letting them get up is kinda dumb, considering they can do it themself.

Seriously, you don't seem good at all. You whine and complain about how people fight but then your way is the golden rule right? Please spare me.

I do know there is cheap tactics in MKD, but saying that moves and throws should hardly ever be used in really pushing it. People could say the same about combos, that combos should never be used.

In simple, if its in the game then it's all fair. Just don't abuse one or the other. But all can be used and that is true skill.

What you are doing is just limiting yourself because you can't keep up with everything going on, you can only keep up with combos, moves and throws overwhelm you to the point of you bitching and making this stupid post.
