Please stop complaining, I can't tell you how many times I've owned a telethrower (raiden) by just simply ducking as soon as he teleports and uppercutting, followed by combos and special moves. This game is not competly broken, there is a way around every move, against dairou, use baraka and do his F+F+1 move before he hits the ground, worked for me. I've only seen one guy in 150 games of playing that used dairou cheaply.
Here's a little tip people, duck under throws, thats the only way to dodge them, that and backstepping. Let me tell you something, I can't tell you how many cheeser throwers I've owned by simply backstepping and then doing baraka's F+F+1 move. Learn how to counter instead of coming on MKO to whine. Yeah sometimes I get a little ticked when I get beat by someone extremely cheap who has faster reflexes than me and can grab me before I duck or backstep, but I usually change my fighting flow in the rematch and most of the time I win.
The only people that ABSOLUTLY SUCK are the ones that yank the plug before you get the win. I had one guy just the other night yank his plug as he was plummeting off the falling cliffs (after I had won the first round).

You can't combo break a special.

Sure, you can't. But you can press block, push down/up, etc.
It might not work, but hey, it's something.

I'd recommend everyone complaining about people being "cheap" online or for some other reason want other players to play by some imaginary set of "honour rules" to read the articles "Playing to Win", parts 0 through 4 at this site:
http://www.sirlin.net/
In fact, I'd recommend anyone to read them, they're very interesting.

DAMN good read; thanks for the link man!
Highly recommended... you guys should check it out! Click the "play to win" feature, and you can mess with the URL to read parts 1-3.

AngryBunny, you do have a good point. I only throw after successfully sidestepping an attack. Yes, I'll admit to using Raiden. But my style of play leans towards combos and not the same cheesy throws. His staff is good for sweeping opponents at a distance. However, I only use that if I'm REALLY gonna get my ass kicked. I used to teleport and then do a three-style branch combo against online opponents, and it was damn effective, but as of late, people have been catching onto my teleports, especially Baraka players. Kobra players...I thought those people were the KINGS of cheese, until I tried using Kobra myself, and got my ass kicked. It takes a lot of skill to use him effectively. The three characters, when in the hands of either a skilled or cheesy player, that scare me the most are Kobra, Baraka, and Nightwolf.
Against those three characters, I'll switch to someone who's got a move that can stun them for a free hit or combo if they get too close, like Sindel, Kira, and Sub-Zero (I find myself good with Sindel and Kira). Against Nightwolf players, I'm expecting them to use a Rhino Charge. Against Baraka players, I'm expecting the Mutant Blades, and against Kobra players, I'm just expecting something cheesy, so with Sindel, Kira, and/or Sub-Zero, I've got the Ice Clone, Kiss Of Death, and Banshee Scream to keep their asses in check. A cheesy Kobra player is the hardest to keep in check, to be quite honest with you.
As for your PWH clan, I feel that I have no place in it, because even though I rely on combos, I keep using the same ones; the ones I feel are most effective. I used to be too intimidated to do them out of fear of them being broken, but ever since I was advised not to use up my breakers all at once by Shinnokxz, I felt that using combos that did five or more hits would sucker online opponents into using up their breakers, so I started practicing with Style Branches. I did fight Moe81 only to get my ass handed to me, but that was before I started using Raiden. Even though I have improved quite a bit (combo-wise) since using Raiden, I still think I suck.
My online record is not one anyone should be proud of. Approximately 225-340. Most of my losses account for when I first got the game. But unlike most people, I see my losses as a badge of honor, because those losses are what gave me practice. As Bo' Rai Cho said in the Konquest mode...

No need to be so dam angry to the original poster of this thread. Simply ignore it and dont play with the clan.
I do get SO pissed off sometimes when a cheaser beats me because its no fun. I'll play them again and beat them with their own cheese style just to satisfy my "pissed-offness". (YOU ALL KNOW WHO YOU ARE--CHESSERS, LMAO).
With out ever reading this thread before, I have evolved into playing the same.
--Most of the time let people get up.
--Use throws only when cornered or wont let me up, etc.
--Never over abuse the special moves because good players will catch on in like 10 secs and kick your butt.
--Never abuse the sweep (never) just to maybe push someone back
(HATE SWEEPERS)
--Hate that overhead smash abuse (like N-S has)
All you haters, (yes your exhibitiing hatred) dont flame. Play the clan (good people) and win. Betcha wont comeback for more whoopin!
Dont flame me cause I'll take it out on you online.
I'd like to join/ try it, see if i can get better by playing great players.
im not great at all, currently 350-550 with my highest rank at like 4000,
but I think its a good idea.

I find it scrubby someone would even title a thread like this. I'm sure the person who created this thread getz thrashed on a regular basis. I see people complaning and I see other who seem like they are true warriors. In any case, I take no pity on those who are weak. Play me and I'll make you retire this game seriously because I CHEESE untill the death! So either CHEESE or be CHEESED.

Fine. Stop responding to the post.
I'm a vastly superior player to most of you, in terms of skill alone, and if that bothers you, I'm fine with it.
But I'm tired of taking attitude from little kids with chips on their shoulders.
Every last one of you isn't worth the piss I'd like to fire down your throats, you stupid cocksuckers.
Shut your fucking mouths and go away.
I didn't invite your insults.

Hmm...pretty ticked off dude lol
There is usually a way around everything in this game. The only exception I will make is what Shingo said about Bo and Shu. That stuff is sick ,and I am still trying to find ways around them besides just blocking the initial attack.
I am sorry, but I utilize everything, or at least I try to. If a person blocks a lot, they are going to get grabbed. That is what the grab is there for.
If a person keeps blocking low, I am going to use an overhead strike. Once again, that is what it is there for.
If a person uses the same stuff over and over again, they become very readable. I guess I would say just try to predict their moves better, especially if they use the same stuff over and over.
That's what I do. Seems to work ok.

question...what is the name of this game? could it be...MORTAL KOMBAT?! im surprised this didnt come up earlier. we play a game thats about beating the shit out of your opponent as brutaly as possible. if i wanted a game with no throws and quote un-quote "cheap special moves" I would play something like "honorable fighter 3: the way of the tulip." just quit preachin' man and just do what you do...if you think what your doing is the right way, then do it...dont be looking down on others. besides, they call it a GAME for a reason, dont take it so seriously. granted, there are people that can take some of the fun out of it, but if they took it all out, you wouldnt be here right now talking about it. so everyone, lets just relax, take a deep breath, and why not discuss this like adults instead of toddlers.

These posts crack me up. Someone posts something which is slanderous to a community and expects not to recieve negative feedback LOL.
FYI this isn't the fucking Brady Bunch.
Also, you may want to rethink your approach. A clan of people with the same views, on any game, can be quite fun. However, I would suggest to post the views of the clan your creating, only. The rest has no bearing, it can be inferred based on what you tell people your clan will support. Labeling people noobs based on what you have stated, in this forum, is like walking into a feminist group and yelling whats up bitches. It doesn't fly to well.
