I doudt Li Mei died from that stab. I mean, Baraka was stabbed by Kung Lao in the exact same spot from Between MK3 and MK4. Right in the sternum with a broadsword, and he is still seen running around later on. Not to mention Quan Chi's leg was snapped one moment, only for it to be back to normal the second.

Very upset about what happened to Sheeva and Kenshi, even though Kenshi might not be dead just yet.

The battles were incredible, especially the-
Quan vs. Jax. Quan Chi's skeleton attack was freaking awesome. As was Jax's leg break.

I loved the Shang Tsung Vs. Lui Kang fight. Lui Kang sound so pissed.

Overall, i'm a little upset (especially about no Rain and barely any Reptile), but more excited. I'm going to take this intro with a grain of salt.

Its probably there just there to get the blood boiling, and for us to really realize this is armageddon. The story will probably be reserved just for Konquest mode.

I like how they show the "bosses" toward the end (plus Lui Kang)

i think li mei is totally human though.
