I think the only way to bring new characters is to do MK 0. It would take 500 years (or whatever the time is until the next tournament) b4 mk1 so we'll have almost all new characters except for maybe rayden and goro

This is a good idea, though I think it should include Shang Tsung too.

i will never buy the game again

you have both Sub-Zero and Scorpion back. Raiden is nowhere to be seen yet and i'm sorry to break this to you but he may well be tdead. the MK Team have a vid of Raidne being killed by the Deadly Alliance. Whether they will be using it for the intro yet is uknown.

If they kill Raiden, I'll be pissed off!

I would be extremely upset furious if they decide to kill Raiden...but then again the dead don't stay dead for very long in this series. If an actor could be brought back why not a god?

Also, what if the 'death' of Raiden is just one of the deceptions. He's pretending to be dead to try to mislead the Elder Gods or the Dragon King, and is still helping/guiding his friends, but wearing a different look. As someone else said, perhaps one of the new characters is just Raiden in disquise.

That would be an awesome deception! Raiden ownage at it's best! lol As a god, he wouldn't be dead for long! To be honest, he shouldn't die at all!

They should include almost all of the classics (MK1 & Mk2) in every game because so far all the new fighters have failed to be taken seriously.
In my opinion MKDA new characters were not very special but a bit better than MK4 and Mk3.
Lie mei( in the game for cleavage), Hsu hsu( ?), Mavado(he was no where near as scary as kano), Nitara( a Sonya with fangs and balck hair), Bo rai Cho( Comic relief)
Frost ( sub-zero with cleavage) need I go on!!!.
In Mortal kombat 4 we had the worst new line up with reference to all the games,
Jarek, Tanya, Reiko, Kai, Shinnok and Fujin????
Mortal komabt 3
Stryker, Sheeva , Night wolf( he’s been given a second chance) Sindel( she’s also been given a second chance)

The point is since mortal komabt2 the team has been infesting mortal kombat games with characters that are half done or utterly unoriginal, and if they want to continue doing this that’s their choice but not on the expense of losing our classic characters.

Yes she was, Nitara had the same charcter model as sonya. So all the team did was colour her hair black and change her clothes.
If you look close at both of their charcter models in the game you will see that they are the same.

Hmmmm, maybe just a bit but not that much. Sonya and Nitara are so unique in their own ways its imposible to actually think they are the same.

The characters i consider classics are the ones from MK1 and MK2. MK1 was the first mk so those characters are instant classics. The characters from MK2 also because that was probably many peoples favorite mortal kombat of all time. I enjoyed mk1 but when mk2 was released i became a bigger fan. MK2 had one of my favorite characters from today which is KITANA. If an MK had only new characters it would be like we are playing a whole different game. The feel to it would be completely different. I personally wouldnt want to see an MK with no classic characters.

Then what is the point of calling it Mortal Kombat if it doesn't have any of the originals? It just wouldn't be the same without at lest a few of the classics. It would not be the same series. If you don't like any of the existing characters and/or storyline then go play another game.

I don't mind new characters, but don't throw away the ones that have become almost icons of the series: Rayden, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Sonya Blade.
