I thinks it's a bad move they need to sell as many copies as possible. As for me I don't have time or money to get a new system.

*Sigh* Consider this a blow agaisnt Nintendo fans.

I think Midway will greatly suffer in the end because of this.

A bold, yet necessary move. Nintendo is just too behind the times.
Not really. Xbox and PS2 have enough of a fanbase so that MK Deception will do well.

Ouch to Nintendo fans though...

I have some friends who are gonna be PISSED about this news.

Well, I guess its time for me to buy the Network Adapter for Ps2!

Man, that is such bullshit!! Yer tellin' me that of MKDA's 2 million plus sold were all on other systems. And no online play? Who cares? Put it out on Gamecube and you'll probably sell more than you did of Deadly Alliance. I don't want a PS2 or an Xbox, frankly other than MK6 they don't have any good games. Damn this sucks!!

As a Nintendo fan, who owns both a PS2 and Gamecube, I'm quite pissed. I prefer the Gamecube version over the PS2 version (however slightly), and I'm completely baffled at why Midway could completely screw Nintendo over. That certainly won't help Nitendo out of their third-party hell. And since when did their 205,000 copies on the GCN mean that sales were bad? As for online play, SEGA has faith, with two Phantasy Star Onlines titles (the only online, though. *sigh*, my poor broadband adapter). And wasn't the MK franchise literally nutured by the 16-bit SNES? Then the N64? And then Gamecube? It helped raise this franchise! While I guess if the game doesn't come out for the big N, I'll get it for PS2, but I just think that's more bad news for the struggling Nintendo in their efforts to break out of their perpetual funk. Fatality.

well the gamecube dosn't have no online capability.. so that means they have to take it out for gamecube.. which means striping code.. which lead to people saying thats bull we don't have online cap. which leads to no sales.. of course this is what midway marketing is thinking.. allwell..

If you want it on GameCube as much as I do, there's really only one thing we can do: raise our voices; sign the petition:

I know I did (Alessandro Lo-Presti, no.48).

thank god its not coming for gamecube. gamecube sucks and gamecube is for little kids who are crazy for mario and mortal kombat does not fit in these player profiles. even the gamepad of the GC sucks that big ass that you couldnt play MK on the GC without getting a hand tumor.

Its ok so they have more time for the game

You must be one of those people who have never played Gamecube but think it sucks because your "friends" tell you it is for kids and sucks. I know plenty of people who are like that, so it is no big deal.
i feel very sorry for all you gamecube owners because MK:De isn't going to be on it. BUt my trusty ps2 never fails when in need of a good game.

Wrong. I had bought a GC myself. But except of RE1 and R:Zeor there were NONE Games that I would even consider to buy. Everything for little Kids. So selling my Gamecube was the best decision I have made last year. Even a friend of mine who ist one of the biggest Nintendo fans in the world I think hast come to the conclusion that the Gamecube sucks in the meantime.

So dont tell me
I am just happy for the news this thread is about and I dont want to start a console discussion nr. 412341234.
