damn i trade my beloved gamecube for a ps2 just beacause of MKD.

So I am guessing this is how gamecube owners are getting to play a arcade perfect port of MK1 now.But like the other person said will there be a kollectors edition on the GCN?But if gamecubers get extra fighters or extra content on the konquest mode or whatever I for one will kinda be mad since I have a xbox and think we all should have the same thing.when i say something i mean like the same game on all system.

I have both PS2 and a GC but now I'm especially excited, because I wasn't about to pay for online play and now I'll get it for GC and get the other features, whatever they may be. (Downside I like to cheat, so no shark, damn)

Now I must get a Gamecube, since I don't have online play for PS2 or Xbox. I wonder what the two new features are.

Who cares if it comes with MK1 or A SPECIAL COVER!! what would you rather play Deception or Crappy MK1 IT is bound to have no extra features than the xbox or the ps poo and who cares i just want to play the god dam game im not going to look at the cover for long!!!

Great news for the NGC owners here.(except the ones who traded in but think about it the cubes not online.) I don;t think any 2 features can make up for no online play because with online you don;t have to be bored because you can play others. Playing th ecomp gets old quick atleast MKDa did lol.

Shit... now I'm confused on what to do. I only own a gamecube, but was planning on buying a ps2. Now that it's coming to the cube, but later...I don't know what to do. I'm a huge mk fan... and would love to get the game the day it's released... instead of having to wait an extra 3 months. Anyone in the same position?

So I'm thinking if I could do this... buy MKD for ps2 and borrow a PS2 from a friend (lol...). That way when the cube version comes out... I can return the ps2, sell the ps2 copy, and start all over on the cube version. Ugh... maybe I'll just buy my own ps2... I dunno!! Kinda wish the cube version was being released sooner... but ugh.. I shouldn't complain.. overall I'm happy its even coming out.

This should put alot of Gamecube the whining to rest, until the exclusive features for the Gamecube version are announced and the people who don't have the Gamecube start whining about that.

I'd really like to know what these "new features" are that it will have. I would hate it for PS2/XBOX owners to be shafted by not getting these new features just because Nintendo didn't have an online strategy for GC. Especially if these are something that should have been in the game initially!

MKD will be delayed more than likely... it happened with MKDA it will more than likely happen again... This and DefJam: Fight for New York are the only fighting games on my list...

but where did you hear that it 'listened to the fans' I did get an Email telling me that it did come to GC but I think it was being developed all along, I just hope it doesn't come bugged like the XBOX MKDA...

Crappy MKI? That is still the best MK of everything up to now. I think subsequent MK games live under the shadow of its original predecessor. Why? Because it was one of the main causes for there being ratings posted on games. Since they couldn't make it gory and still have actors, they used CG characters (after MK3)nk is the reason why there hasn't been much talk about how violent games are so violent. If they concentrated on bringing live characters into a 3D environment with the same gore that you see in MKD, I would guarantee you that there would be a whole lot of controversy with the MKD. So playing an arcade perfect port is a big deal to those who remember the stir that MKI caused and would like a dose of nostalgia given to them. I think its about time, and here I was about to buy a real MKI arcade machine...saved me a lot of money.
