First. It's unfuckinbelievable. The intro is so cinematic and dramatic. It gives a bittersweet ending to MK:Deadly Alliance however.
Someone post stills. Thats too fuckin' much. My computer would die and I'll never be on MKO again. You all would miss me.....STILLS!!!!!!!

Mortal Kombat Z. Plain and simple, Mortal Kombat Z.

The opening was excellent but towards the end it just became way too Dragonball Z-esque for my taste. It's not a bad intro though and the quality is excellent.

It was amazing. I'm going to describe it quickly

SPOILERS!!

Shujinko narrates the Deception intro. The camera pans up the steps of Shang Tsung's Palace, as we learn that the Earth warriors have failed at stopping the Deadly Alliance from resurrecting the Dragon King's undefeatable army. Shujinko then states that it is his fault that the Dragon King has returned. As a last resort Raiden challenges both sorcerors in Mortal Kombat. Raiden fights very well, but is overpowered, and defeated. His presumable end comes from a conjured snake of fire thanks to Shang Tsung. The DA is victorious, but turn on each other out of paranoia and want for power. After a brief conflict, Quan Chi defeats Shang Tsung. It is then that we learn that the Dragon King has returned, his name is Onaga. The DK marches towards Quan Chi, as his army bows at his approaching feet. Quan Chi tries to take the Dragon King alone. He is powerless to stop him. Shang Tsung comes to his feet and assists Chi is trying to stop Onaga. And finally a new alliance is forged as Raiden also raises and attacks the DK. All three aren't powerful enough to stop him. Raiden then realizes that there is only one glimmer of hope left, as he unleashes an ethereal blast, in an attempt to destroy the Dragon King. When the dust settles, we see the Dragon King standing alone, grasping the amulet, as it is apparent that Raiden's sacrifice truly was in vain. Shujinko ends his narration saying that he brought the Dragon King his power and that only he alone can stop him.

I suggest everyone watch this as soon as possible.

No The Dragon King's name is Onaga. We still don't know who the sub-boss is. And that is a picture of Shujinko.

No, i disagree.

It says "the blast has little effect on the dragon king. Now Onaga has what he needs."

Why would it call it the DK and 1 second later call him Onaga?

The last sentence spoken in the intro was, "Born of deception". Was shujinko talking about the Dragon King or himself? Awesome INTRO!

...Because Shujinko refers to the Dragon King's name as being Onaga when he makes his entrance.

He said something along the lines of "Onaga, the Dragon King, had returned." at about 3 minutes and 20 seconds into the movie.

(Spoilers)Damn the new news sure as shit froze the site up! No surprise though, that trailer....goddamn! Graphics are deffinitely an upgrade and what an end to the Deadly Alliance, they win! I wasn't thrilled with Quan getting the upper hand, but it's still rocks. And there is no damn way that Raiden comes back from that and the Deadly Alliance doesn't. I screamed when raiden teleported, and the new moves Quan and Shang have, words can't describe it. Overall the trailer is absofuckinbeautiful!

Ho-Leesh-It

Grief...

I'm just stunned.

I think the way they have DA ending is a perfect intro into the Dark MK:D.
Very Cool, Very Dark.

Man... I'm just frikkin' speechless...

And I do think Raiden could have survived an the DA might not have. Raiden being the center of the storm wouldn't have been hit by his own attack nearly as hard as those standing in close proximity.
However, if shang and quan realized what he was doing they both might have shielded themselves magically somehow, but I still think they would have been hit harder than Raiden was.

When Raiden made the sacrifice and the Dragon King (who is Onaga by the way) arose unaffected, you can see Shang Tsung and Quan Chi looking from a distance. Could they still be alive? And if so, are they enemies or have they realized that they need each other to survive. One more question. If they are alive, wouldn't that mean there is now a new alliance involving Raiden? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

omg that was amazing! they did an awesome job on the graphics and the overall choreography...but my bet is that shang and quan arent even near death...raiden went to help them as a last ditch effort...he wouldnt just blow up two valuable, even if temporary, allies that are quite powerful...my bet is that raiden was able to teleport them out of there or he somehow protected them and later told them to go find allies in other realms or something...there are lotsa possiblities and this game is gonna rock...btw did any1 notice baraka and another mutant... also if you look at the brood picture and how the fighting arenas are its a mad rush for power and its time for people to be confident in their choices...the frontline battles have been fought (and many lost for both sides) and the origionals are out...if you think about it DA was sort of like mk1 and this is sorta like mk2...the realms are in chaos and everyone is either fighting with or against onaka...whats gonna happen? lol this suspense is killing me i love it
