I'm not angry at the MK Team for putting Shao Kahn and Goro in the GCN version of MK:D and I won't be buying a GCN just for those two extra characters, if there are more extras I might consider it because there are a few other games that are exclusive to that console that I wouldn't mind having.

for the people who are complaining go to chicago and protest how they gave us a great game with a great story with great characters but were still just little ungreatful kids
they really just could have left out all the extra features and put like ten fighters in the game plus i don't think the gc is going to have a special edition so they needed something for the lack of a special edition not really online play.

You certainly wouldn't have waited an extra 6 months for the POSSIBILITY there might be some new extra features, would you? No...you would have went ahead, and bought your version, as is, on October 4th.

No, he's not. It's bullshit. I, as well as others, don't use online play. What is that anyways, like 10-15 bucks a month to play online? I'm not paying that shit. I would have gladly waited for MKD for another six months if I would have gotten the proper version. It's not PS2 and XBOX owners faults that it came out earlier for them so it sounds like he's the one who's got bad blood.
Bottom line: all versions should be the same. You say that since GC doesn't have online capabilities you should get extra characters, I say that's bullshit. If you bought a GC, you knew full well that you weren't going to get online play to begin with. Nothing chaps my ass more than when certain systems get "exclusive" content over others. I own a PS2 and when I bought Viewtiful Joe for it, I actually kind of felt bad for Cube owners since they didn't get Dante. (Not like he was anything super special though)

i really don't think the gamecube got two extra characters because of lack of online play i really don't think anyone with a gamecube cares about online since none of the games they have use it, i just think they got kahn and goro for lack of a kollectors edition or premium pack.those both had extra bios and an arcade perfect port of MK1 so PS2 and Xbox owners still get more then the gamecube owners so really stop being bitchs

well actually, with MK for xbox comes a 2 month free trial wich im usin, and there r also 12 month free starter kits u can buy over and over for like £30. i dont think the guy ment 'since u cant have it i cant' but that is what the general gist of wat everyone is complainin about, and wen u think bout it gamecube owners will want online later wen they r bored with 2 WHOLE new characters. its only 2 characters neway

I'm fine sans online play. I've never had an interest in it. You're right, they're just two characters. One of which everyone was hoping for though. Now, only a fraction of MKD players get him.

Just a commented jipped is actually spelled gypped. It's a derivitave of the word gypsy and is actually a racist term similiar to when people use the word jew in discussing haggling or saying they were jewed out of something. Bet the mods don't know about that and won't edit it though.
Now when he said I can't have it so nobody can have it he wasn't speaking literally. He was paraphrasing what people are saying. The comment that all the games should be the same is stating that. The funny thing is for each game to be identical game cube would have to have online capability. I don't really think that the two extra characters, who will probably be shallow just like they have always been anytime they were playable, were added because of the lack of online play. More likely it was added for a selling point. A lot of people have it on another system and some are "crazy" enough to actually buy it. Besides that it's been out for 6 months everybody knows what to expect and it loses some of the appeal because of that. Tossing some extras in will awaken an interest and it could reawaken interest in what will likely be a dead game on the other systems by the time of the release.

1: buy a gamecube
2: dont buy mk7 until you know what your buying
If you dont buy the game well that only hurts one person and thats midway and then they might listen to all the complaints!!Just like with mkda everyone went out and bought the game including myself and we all got screwed and now with mkd and i believe it will be with mk7!!!! so unless they release another title like mk trilogy on ps2 or xbox well this will be one guy that isnt buying

nintendo when be still here long after we all die. and i bet anything on that. unlike the other 2 companies making game systems, nintendo is the only one making money off of it game system (and it more powerful then ps2 and in minor ways the x-box) and i bet it will be that why nextgen as well cause of how sony and microsoft try to sell things. Make a system for 300 to 400 bucks and sell it for 200 to 300 and say its more powerful cause it cost more to make which some times is true but not always.
