I think it's funny nobody gets all uptight about Bloody Roar taking "fatalities" and using them in their games but when SC does it most of the MK fans go on a victory parade.

That's probably because BR can't compete with the likes of the other fighters, made 3 games and died....

I like BR, but it's like KI. Was hot for a little while then poof

Actually, BR technically made 6 games if you count Extreme and Primal Fury.

BR could make a comeback if done right. Hell so could KI.

Still looks way too stiff, imo. Theres a point in the Trailer where Superman freezes Sub, and starts to walk over to him... it's the same stuff we've seen in the last several games.

He walks over in his general stance, slow as can be. It just doesn't look right, and when watching it, I can feel myself cringe feeling the controller in my hand. Also, the jumping still looks sluggish as well.

The game looks like its STILL all about how many times you can connect with a special attack rather than actually out maneuvering and out fighting your opponent.

I said before, I'd give this game a shot if they seriously worked on the actual fight like they had said they were doing the previous few installments... It just doesn't seem like they are doing that. Adding a mini game of boxing in the middle of fighting and adding what appears to be one sided button mashing while falling from one stage to the next just doesn't get it done... for me any way.

I want to like this game... this is the series I grew up playing... grew up obsessing over, but its starting to get extremely obvious these guys just can't design a fighting game based around combat.

I have just come to realize that Shang Tsung's body structure is very similar to Taven's in MKArmageddon.

Has anyone else come to see that?

Actually, it's a bit different then the previous MK's. MKA every walked differently to this game. Not to mention the was no jumping in MK:DA and MKD, it sucked. This game has that MK2 element to it. I don't see how this is "as slow" as some people are making it out to be, in a real fight peopl move roughly the same speed. SC, MK4 and Tekken's speed is way too fast honestly and it should be like this. MKA was faster then MKD and MK:DA, believe me. Once you play these games online every night like I do, you come to realize this.

The boxing isn't a mini game, it's part of the fighting mechanic. The only mini game thus far that's apart of the fighting is the running thru walls "test your might button mash" part other then that, there are no mini games in this game. I disagree with you, this game looks like a fun, good game and the fighting looks great like that combination of MK and comic book fighting.

Plus, one more thing to remember. It's an "early" build, far from finished despite how you feel now you have to give it a chance. The demo's are only for E3 and teasing like every other game
