I think Tanya had a nervous breakdown after being in mk4.

I don't think Tanya is possesed... she's just REALLY MEAN!! And I don't really want her to be under the DK's mind control... I like the fact that she's indeed EVIL

I have a theory, although this may be more because of Kerri Hoskin's Tanya voice acting than any actual characterization. I think it's possible that Tanya, the uber-valley girl that she is, has just heard someone say something like "you are such a Kitana clone" and is rolling her eyes at them. Unfortunately, due to her super-powered valley girl-ness, she's rolled them all the way back and may never get them unstuck.

Tanya DOES have white eyes. I don't think she's dead, like Sindel or Scorpion, or uber-powerful, like Raiden or Sub-Zero. I think it's because she's evil, or something, and DK has changed her and corrupted her further, resulting in a slight transformation. Who knows? Maybe she is under mind control. You know, if I had control of her mind for, like, ten minutes... the possibilities.

I think Tanya is under SOME kind of influence. She's not normal, I agree with you there, Garlador. And I'm sure DK has something to do with it. Just because you're evil doesn't mean you get white eyes. Kano and Mavado would have had them in MK:DA, then.

I mean, theres no reason for her to have another weapon, since the boomerang is her trademark weapon, but... who knows ??

yes, it would be kinda disappointin if it turns out she doesn't have her trademark boomerang.. It's what gives her own unique style and spot really in the MK universe.

Although that is true, what would you consider Jade's weapon ( other than the staff ) to be in MKU ? The purple projectile she used ? Wasn't that a "boomerang" ? It didn't look like that to me ...

yeah i think tanya will have her boomerang back. but i think it will be heavily detailed with sharp points and little curves in it and what not.

I just think that the MK Team gave her those eyes to make her look more ominus and evil. In MK4/Gold she didn't really look the part. Just like Mileena did in MKG. Her blanked out eyes gave her that extra evil sense. Or maybe she had her soul removed and is nothing more than a mindless assasin for the Dragon King's army. That whould suck pretty bad, almost to the point of ruining her character.

Someone posted an edited pic where they were able to take the "white" out of her eyes, and it revealed pupils. I'd post it if I could.

I dont really think kano or mavado are evil. mavado fights with honor atleast and kano is just a little back-stabbing fucker. he just allies with whoever he think is stronger. Id call him more of a pussy really then giving him the evil title.

I don't think she's possessed. It's just a look of evil. Maybe shes been practicing some dark arts and they've given her that look.

At least I wonder WHY she has white eyes. Some sort of explaination (other than 'it was the programmer's choice') would help greatly. Maybe when her movie bio comes out... Fatality.

Is it me, or has Tanya lost several inches of neck since her last appearance? It looks like she's been clobbered on the head with a shovel. Maybe thats why her eyes are white.
