I'd say YES...

i got a hi res version of this and I swear half of these characters are funky looking.......subs new outfit is way different and I have seen like 3 board fatalitys already.......and if this is ermac his weapon is weird man.....

I would say its a definite NO. It's not revolving around him, but he probably plays a key part in it.

but anyway.......think they are promoting the game a lil like they did for mkda with scorpion and quan chi as the focus in the advertisements.

I have no clue but ill bet hes 1 of the last bosses.

i doubt he'll be a boss, the game may revolve around him but i think they may add the Dragon King as the final boss

I don't want him to be a boss! Usually bosses are unplayable, (Unlike MK4 and MK:DA) and I really, really, really, really want to play as Baraka! If he is, then I don't care if he's a boss. But I hope they don't pull off past MK games and you can select the bosses from the beginning of the game.

nah he wont be the boss........I strongly believe he is just going to be the center of attention in advertising the game.........

I don’t know why people keep thinking Baraka and Mileena will be the main characters. It is just one awesome trailer that show us SOME of the characters we will see in MKD. The fact we see them as the “central” characters doesn't mean they are the main.

The Dragon King HAS TO BE A SURPRISE!!!!!!!!! I hope we never get to see a pic of him till the game is released! We have to bee shocked when we see him. Maybe a tease pic but we CANT see him yet. IT IS WAY TO EARLY.

Besides, the trailer doesn't really talk about the story of the game. Only of some sort of “traitor” that MIGHT NOT be in the trailer.

All I say is, Mileena and Baraka were there to shock and make us talk.

it could all about baraka.... but look: wat if the deceptonist is Baraka and Mileena want to "dominate every realm"? then the story would be all about Mileena!

the beginnig is definately baraka, i turned the brightness up and noticed barakas nose and teeth, this must have some sort of baraka storyline involved. maybebaraka betrayed mileena, that is why they are fighting.

But what does that have to do with the Dragon King? Or the Earthwarriors? There has to be more to this story then just Baraka and Mileena? We need to know about Ermac, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Scorpion. IMO there is just to many characters in this game for the story to revolve around only 2 characters.

Mileena ussually dies in Kitana's endings... there's no Kitana at least in the trailer ;)

I don't think so. He's not a strong enough character to be the main focus. I think Baraka is just being used to advertise the Mortal Kombat online community. I wouldn't be surprised to see an add featuring Scorpion soon.

i doubt he is the main focus, but may be the catalyst which causes the whole game's story to basically begin

and also, tons of people have been griping to get Baraka back so they wanted to put him in the advertising to show people that they brought him back

Scorpion was given all the highlight in the first MKDA trailer, yet the story defenetely did NOT revolve around him.

That is what i tihnk, maybe just testing using cgi and decided to use baraka

when they releases the DA video of Scorp. fighting quan... I thiught THEY were the main characters.... but it was Qiuan and Shang... maybe this time it's Baraka/Dragon king? I don't know

thing with scorpion and quan was they just fought...they didnt really have a narrator talking bout one with close ups of the guys face...........but I dont really care if it revolves round baraka or not but it could be a good story if it did

I think the story does revolve around Baraka.

in the early MKDA days, Scorpion was given alot of the limelight, but there was no narrarator there. Just a scene of him fighting his ass off.

With this trailer, we have proof that Baraka MIGHT be a character centered on. I'm kind of glad about this. Now we can see what relationship Baraka and Mileena have....

It would be cool to c baraka as the main guy in the game.........I mean it might be a longshot but I wouldnt mind.......as long as they make Stryker the main good guy!
