Yup, I made a thread about this, but it was a long time ago, I would not mind them fixing a few glitches here and there, and have a costume edit mode like they have in Tekken and Virtua Fighter. It could be realeased for PSN or Xbox live.

I agree that there are better fighting games out there but I just prefer the fighting engine in MKDA, each game is too different to compare anyway

You prefer MK because it was you understand best.

If you took the time to actually learn how to play other traditional fighters like Tekken, Street Fighter, or Soul Calibur there is no way you or anyone on here could convince me that they aren't absolute superior experiences.

MK sucks man. I grew up on it and played it plenty, but be real. I'll check out MK8 just because I'll have a system that supports it and other fighters to play, but I definitely wouldn't buy a console just to play it anymore.

VERSA has a point. The 3D MKs' fighting engine were so easy to master or at least be really good at anyone could pick it up quickly. Tekken, Soul Calibur, Virtua Fighter fighting systems are MUCH MORE complex which is why some people don't like them. There's too much information for them to digest in any of their fight engines.

Not really , i played Tekken and i sayd its a way better fighting engine , it was very fun , i just dont like the characters besides julia and raven who was new to me , i dont enjoy tekken anymore , it was fun while it lasted for me , then i went over to mka and i sayd it sucked , so i stuck with Tekken played the hell out of if , then after a while went back to MKA just for the fuck of it and when i entered the select screen i couldnt help to stay , i love choosing my favorite characters , i had not played a fighting game in a while , i was playing COD4 and barely a little tekken .

Yeah, I am sure their fighting engines more deep then most of the MK games, but MKDA isn't really that bad for a fighting game, sure its not as deep as Tekken or Virtua Fighter but its balanced to a playable level unlike MKA or MKD with KAK and Bo running those games. I also like MKA and its 2D-3D feel, thats something I will never feel in Tekken and Tekken lacking that dark MK feeling.

tekken is just a stupid piece of shit to me, i dont wanna understand a dumb game like that.

The only thing thats really "stupid" in Tekken is the chain grabs and that each character has like 5 of the mother fuckers. But the main killer is that you have to guess what the fuck buttons to press.

Iv always hated tekken,i played some tekken 3 and owned tekken tag.....zim glad im not alone on the tekken sucking balls thing.i can play it just fine its just not what i like.

Well I don't think there is anything wrong with the Tekken or VF Engines, I believe they are good, even Ed Boon said Tekken is his favorite game, however I believe the characters have really boring personalities. If they just had some charismatic qualities, I think these games may more of a hit with the MK community.

He just doesn't like the juggles, OTGs, Lili's quotes, some of the characters, the walls, Lili's quotes, matrix lag, input delay, Lili's quotes, shit talkers, disconnectors, rank whores, Lili's quotes, Ziggyfeild, Bryan's inferior fighting ability to Lili, and opti match. Oh did I mention Lili's quotes?

You have a problem breaking throws in which you have to "guess"(most players who are even decent can tell which arm is being used and break accordingly), but it's totally alright in MKD and MKA in which the entire game is based around 50/50s?

No you can't play Tekken. Knowing how to "do the moves" doesn't mean you comprehend how to play. Do you know what frame advantage is? How to break throws? Crushing? Wall combos?

Tell me your knowledge about Tekken and I'll judge whether or not you have the right to say anything about it's gameplay.

lol i didnt play it enough to break it down like mkd/a......the game was shit i hated the way it moved and the chars,why learn a game that i dont like?

i gave it plenty of time to know if i liked tekken,here and there iv played almost all of em and there shit IMO,and ppls oppions and what not decide weather ull like the game,even if i learned it and broke it down doesnt mean id like it i dont like the stupid chars.

i dont have to like all fighting games and tekken is one of them,theres plenty of ppl who dont like tekken,and plenty who do.

and yes , thats exactly how i felt , i was playing people who were equally clue less as myself . thats why i started posting at TZ.com , they beat the shit out of me with out grabs . i was having so much fun , until i got bored .

If anything the Tekken characters have more personality to them than the MK characters. At least in Tekken they taunt and say quotes, etc. Some are funny, some are corny. While MK you play a lifeless character with no flashiness to him/her.

But who cares about that shit? It's all on the gameplay itself which is why Tekken > MK any day of the god damn mother fuckin week.

what really stands out with Tekken compare to MKA is the wake up game; in Tekken you aint safe just lying on the ground as compare to MKA you can hold block to lie on the ground and if you get hit with mid you just magically stand up.
