Yes and no. The answers to my questions may determine whether or not I buy the game in three weeks.

I was under the impression that Klose Kombat would replace the standard throws, but since throws are in, are the normal throws blockable or escapable?

Three questions:
1) When you get knocked down, can you get up when you want to? Meaning, if you choose, can you stay on the ground or does the game force you up?
2) When you get knocked down, can you do any attacks from the ground or are your only options to stand up or roll?
3) Can you do the breakers all willy nilly or do they require proper timing to stop an incoming attack?

Yeh I'm pretty sure that I was able to get up when I wanted to, because I remember playing as Superman and I decided to stay on the floor for a while before gettin up... I don't think you can attack while your gettin up aint 100% sure.. Breakers require proper timing, they aint as easy to pull off as Armageddon or Deception!

What about the Victory Poses (like Scorpion throwing his spear at the camera when he wins)? Every character have their own or is it the same for everyone, just like the throws?
About the Special Moves in the Freefall Kombat... Do you have anything to say about it?
And congrats for taking the 2nd place at the tournament! Hope you enjoy your free copy of the game!

Victory poses are BAAAAAAD!!! I remember Subzero having 2 victory poses, the one in the leipzig build was different to the one on the most recent build! In the build that I played, Sub zero would freeze the ground and the ice would rise up to his waist all sharp and stuff! It was wicked!
But the BEST victory pose i saw was Shang Tsungs! It looks like hes got his morphin abilities back hint hint lol!
Yeah Freefall combat was cool! The supers are pretty easy to pull off, as soon as your SUPER meter fills up, u just press R1 and you can do ur freefall super!
Thanx lol! The tournament was wicked fun! Cant believe I came second, cuz it was the first time I played the game! My mate came first, it was me and him in the finals lol!
After the tournament they blocked off the whole area so me and my mate could sit down and play the game for about an hour or 2! we were playing the brand manager Mark aswell! Who is one kool geeza!

One of the Midway reps said that Deathstroke is one of the strongest characters, because his quite powerful in hand to hand combat and then hes got a decent amount of long range and short range moves! and then you've got his sword aswell which you can fight with!
Green Lantern was fun to play with! But I thought he would have had a bit more specials to be honest...

I don't think they are blockable, but they are escapable, because when you counter the throw it depends whether you end up on the floor, or once ur thrown u end up on ur feet and slide... Its in the vids if i aint explained it properly lol.
