I sat jax has got boring co id have to say Kai

I would vote for jax, i definitly thin he is kooler. But i want to add to this that Cyrax is also black, and arguably tanya, according to some other people. That makes 3, maybe 4 black kharakters. Maybe even 5, if you consider Jade as black.

Neither! I can't stand either of these two characters although, if I had to choose, I'd go with Kai! Jax has been in MK too long!

Neither is all that good imo. Kai had poorly designed moves but good Fatalities. His story was also very poor and he didn't seem like he belonged in MK.

Jax had good moves and good Fatalities but was let down by his look and story. It needs changing dramatically.

KIA...... and i do think he will be 1 of the 3 returning from past mk's.. i loved his fireball moves....im 1 of the few but i liked him in mk4,its to bad the game play in mk4 sucked!!!!

I'll have to go with Kai.I think it's time for Jax to have a seat on the bench.Boon doesn't have to kill him off just give Jax MKD off.

MK4 isn't a real good reference point to look at characters. Anyway i would vote kai. He just seemed to drop off the map after MK4. I think he has potential. I like jax too and i like his new metal arms since they look more cool and realistic. But come one, we know jax and we know the special forces. They are after the dragon clans. In MK2 he went after sonya. In MK3 he fought in the invasion. In MK4 he went after sonya. In MK5 he's after hsu hao. His potential is maxed out it seems. Besided in MKD the threat seems to be involved with people that are obligated to protecting earth from outworld, which falls in the hands of the gods, lin kuei, and shaolin. Special forces are now more concerned about red dragon even though they went to outworld to fight the deadly alliance. Kai was origianally going to be put in MKDA since they had sketches of him. Why don't they just put both of them in. Its always nice to have characters. And i don't think jade is black. even though she was tan in MK2, she was white in MK3 but thats only because of the actors. If she is put back in MK we will have to see the 3D version of her. If i had to choose i would like to explore kai more. Capoeira seems like a good style for him since he had those handstand moves.

Yeah I'd like to see capoiera as a fighting style in MK:D. I'm sure some people, especially in magazines and what not, will talk about the MK team ripping off Tekken's Eddy Gordo, but if they make it unique enough and give him enough good, fun moves, hopefully he won't be seen as the Eddy of MK. I'd kinda like to see him look like the guy that Liu Kang first fought in the MK movie (when they were using the sticks, the guy that kinda growled like a lion). Maroon colored pants, long thin dreadlocks flowing about half way down his back. I thought that guy looked cool. Maybe for Kai they could put the white crescent markings on him, like what he had in MK4. I just see so much potential in Kai, whereas in Jax, I see a character that needs some time off.

I agree with whoever said not to kill him off, just have him sit out this round. I personally think the special forces thing was lame. I'm not a huge Sonya fan, although I never really mind seeing her in the games (but where did her hand stand flip from MK1 and 3 go!?!?) because her plot always seems to be intertwined with Kanos. She's the leader of the special forces, so she should be in the game I suppose. Jax on the other hand, as I mentioned already is always chasing Sonya, or someone else. Big deal. zzzzzzzzzz.

If he sat out for MK:D and then came back without those dumb metal arms in MK7, with a new and better storyline, I'd be happy with that. But Kai has too much potential, especially now that Liu Kang's dead, storywise. I just hope they freshen him up a bit.
