I don't particularly like the hairy bastard very much lol.

I don't really know what to do with this guy, I mean, he's just kind of there. A slimey, dishonorable creep. Have him be what he always was. Have him backstab yet another person just to save his own neck. Oh, and finish his lame rivalry with Sonya.

In my opinion, the MK team should let Mavado's ending happen because I don't see much of a future for Kano's storyline. I think he's served his purpose in MK and I don't see why he should come back. I think it's time for us to see what the Red Dragon clan is all about when they battle against the Lin Kuei clan (that is if Mavado's ending does indeed happen in the storyline).

As for his fighting styles, I think that Xing Yi doesn't suit him and Aikido sort of suits him (but Aikido is a non-violent martial art and Kano is an evil and violent man so I guess he would a modified version of Aikido). Since Kano is named after Dr. Jigoro Kano, you'd think that Kano in MKDA would have had Judo (a modified form of it of course since Judo is a gentle marital art in which Kano is the opposite of). And his weapon definitely suits him well and it suits him the best out of the 3 styles he has.

If he were to be in MK6, then he could have fighting styles such as modified versions of Judo and Aikido or he could have something like Streetfighting and Shootfighting. And his weapon should be the same.

And his storyline would probably involve him plotting to destroy the Red Dragon and Special Forces. (And of course we all know that Quan Chi's MKDA will NOT occur in the MK storyline so I say to some of you who still think that his ending will happen: Forget about there being a Liu Kano!! END OF STORY!!!! >:O )

Kano is also one of my faves characters..BUT...Im thinking he wont come back. I mean, it will give space for a new clan, full of evil and dicipline, the red dragon to come.

The red dragon seems to be more important in some way, I mean, it does not only forms an alliance with Quan Chi (if he is alive), it also means trouble not only to the Special Forces, but to the Lin Kei. With that, the team can come up with many original ideas and do more stuff.

As much as I hate it, its time for the Black Dragon to die...forever.

Kano is cool. He's an original character from the original game...i'd like him to get a bigger role in the next mk....i hope his ending comes true where he kills sonya using the amulet, nothing against sonya, but i'd like the mk series to keep kano in the series

Actually, I'd like to see Sonya be defeated or killed by Frost in the next MK game.

I post a thread on who is your favorite new character, and the crow brought up an ironic postive to Mavado. He said people were starting to get sick of kano and Mavado and the Red dragon may have in fact saved his story. Also in Mavado's ending, it shows kano falling off the stage. Kano may survie the fall. Mavado's ending may not have happen. So don't lose faith. Cheer up, I am sure they won't kill Kano off permantly. Especially since many didn't Jarek(except me).

come to think of it.....it wouldnt matter if mavado's ending came true..cos he feel off quan chi's stage, he may have even fell into quan chi's inner sanctum where chi normally rejuvenates his powers....
Maybe we will see Kano as a sorceror in the next mk getting revenge against mavado and the red dragon

Kano still has potential, more so than alot of other characters. With the Red Dragon Clan now in the picture, he may have a true purpose, something he lacked in MKDA. Glad to see some of you agree with my original idea, and thanks for the credit. Kano should also be included as a tribute to the late actor who portrayed in the movie, Trevor Goddard. I think it would be a nice jesture on the MK teams part.

If Kano isn't going to feud with the Red Dragon, well, either way really, I'd like to see this Sonya vs. Kano story ended, as its the most long-running rivalry in MK. Have him kill/kidnap her, and let Jax go after him. Or possibly, another idea would be to let Sonya's former partner resurface, the one Kano was thought to have killed. He could have joined up with the Black Dragon himself, and that could have been just a cover-up. I don't know, I've liked that idea since I heard it. I believe it was UReiko's idea, I'm pretty sure it was anyway.

Either way, Kano has lots of story options open to him. Why throw him out and keep other characters that are locked in a storyline that cannot be changed?

No problem. Maybe Kano and Sonya will tag team up against Mavado. But, I do fell a tribute Trevor Goddard. Not too many people knows he is dead that are outside this website. In all the mk games without Kano, he had something to do w/ the game.In mk2 Jax was there to rescue Sonya and capture Kano.In mk4 we had Jarek who was part of the black dragon.If mk6 is the last mk, then all the original characters should be in it whether we like them or not.

I think those ideas are very cool.

i say give him MK6 and then get rid of him

just make his MK6 storyline have almost nothing to do with the special forces

make him play a important role in outword wit hthe evil team..focus on his hunger for power and his feud with the red dragon
