Ok, I read some post about someone complaning about shelling out another 60 bucks to get it for the Wii. Go to blockbuster or gamefly! Its honestly not that hard and all you do is pay like 5 bucks. You get your Khameleon (if shes in), and you don't have to pay 60 bucks so don't complain about it. I would say its just a character honestly. I do see the point about not having everyone in it which is a load of crap I agree there. and Yes I would rather see Khameleon than Meat but to me it honeslty isnt that big of a deal. I'm probably in the middle of this, finding out what would be khameleon's ending, yes I want to know but it isnt as big of a situation as you guys are bringing it up to be.

People often complain about characters making it who had insignificant stories in PAST games. Meat for example, was only a palette swap.

What do you think Reptile was in MK1? Reptile was only a palette swap of Sub-Zero/Scorpion and used their moves. He had absolutely no story whatsoever. So in MK2, they gave him a story. Do you guys honestly think they will leave Meat and Chameleon with no story from past games? Of course not. Characters are developed as games proceed. Look at Reptile. Look at Ermac. Look at Noob Saibot. Look at Smoke. Look at Jade. These characters began with NO story. Now look at them, they're very popular.

To all of the people who think complaining about Khameleon is immature: Ok, first of all, I was really hoping she would be included in this game, as did many others. I realize some people didn't like her and some thought she was no more than a swap ninja. However, others have been hyping her since the news of Armageddon first came out.

Remember that long Khameleon thread someone started a few months back? It even got dragon points. Of course people are going to complain beacuse they spent all of that time hoping she was going to be in it all for a huge letdown. It's kind of a shot through the heart.

To make matters worse, the Official X-Box magazine confirmed her in writing, Cinder even posted Khameleons tend to hide (multiple with a K) and all of those numerous Khameleon threads that spawned after those hypes were made. So, I'm asking you don't go bashing all of the disappointed Khameleon fans- they're jurst upset because of the letdown and are just expressing it on this thread. It's better than starting thirty more threads complaining how she's not in it.

So, if you don't like the complaining, why did you even come into this thread? You should all know how much many people on this site wanted it- and you knew that since the headline CLEARLY states that Khameleon Confirmed Not to Be in MK: Armageddon, those people would be in here complaining. So you should just avoid it intirely, unless you're looking to start an arguement.

And I also know that expressng your opinions are fine. Lots of people could just "create" a Khameleon, but those are diehard MK STORY fans and want her story to be wrapped up as well. For those who don't care about the story and say that MK is a FIGHTING game, well, it wouldn't have half the fans without it's story.

And with that said, I would like to say that I'm still going to get the game and just hope that something might happen to get her story tied up. Until then, please just act maturely about this. Don't throw a tantrum for her not being in it, but don't criticize those who do want her in. Thanks.

my only main reason in buying MKA was because my favorite female character Khameleon was in it. I might need to reconsider buying it.

I am going to go out on a limb and say I still think Khameleon is going to get in. Here is my reasoning.

After Mortal Kombat 2, the Internet really came to the forefront and secrets were easily diseminated across the country which really killed some of the mystery of MK. With the last few games we have been seeing secrets and other features revealed months before the game has been released.

Originally Cinder had said "Khameleons tend to hide". I think Midway made their forum spokesperson back off a bit and throw this wrench into the wheel so that we would still have something to be surprised about when the game is released. She would be a hidden character we did not expect was still in the game.

A backtracking on a statement if you will. Just a thought.

Chameleon's redesign is really stupid. MK needs more female characters, and Khameleon is crucial to Reptile's story. Sorry MK team, but you guys made a mistake on this one.

I think a lot of you are forgetting about Midways #1 constant trait: Blowing smoke up our ass.

Sorry if this pisses people off but I just can't see the logic behind all this complaining about something you have no way of knowing is true. Just because Cindar says she's not in doesn't make it true, it could very well be one of Midway's crappy tricks to leave a few surprises in the game, they've done it before, their probably doing it now, and they sure as hell will do it again in the future.

And then you have Midways #2 constant trait: Cheaping out and rushing everything.

I'm sorry but DA was a pitiful rush job no matter how you look at it. And Deception could have been so much more if they'd just put a little more effort/money into it. Using Boon's (misguided) logic about what fans want and keeping in mind all the other terrible decisions Midway has made leads me to believe that they'll throw Khameleon in as an alternate costume to Chameleon or, at the very least, include her in either Chameleons, Reptiles, or the supposed "Big Movie" endings. Hell, knowing how Boon likes to one-up people, he might even throw in those backwater characters like Tremor, No-Face... etc, in some small way just so he could say that he really put in every character.

The bottom line is that we just plain don't know, so please hold off on the pissing and moaning (this being directed at the people who don't actually state an oppinion and just bitch endlessly) until...

a) The game is actually released. (because shit always changes)

and

b) We've had a month or so to tear the game apart. (both playwise and the hackers who read the code to find shit)

Oh, and in case anybody's wondering how I personally feel about the situation. Yeah, I'll be pissed if she's not in it, thus making Boon look even more full of shit then he already does, but it's certainly not something that would cause me to not buy the game. Hell, if you're expecting a Mortal Kombat game to be perfect after everything we've seen you really haven't been paying attention. I EXPECT these kind of asinine lies and mistakes to come along so I don't flip out when they happen. Simply put, no game is perfect and you'll always be dissapointed if you expect them to be.

And that's my two cents (more like two bucks really but hopefully it'll throw a bit of water on all those flames)

Ok, just because khameleon isn't a playable character does not mean that her story will not come to a close, so lets not get pissed off yet. Plus if you wanted to play as khameleon, then do so in KAK.

Well, it's just a videogame, so why do you care if people complain about it. It does not involve you in any way, shape, or form.

To sum it up simply, two-faced fanboys who say MKA is screwed and that they won't buy it over an N64 pallet swap are a cancer upon the community.
They're a big reason the type of change MK actually needs (gameplay and better online modes) is overlooked for what Reptile's wearing and whatever.
