I think she looks boring. She looks "too classic."

Sonya and Shang were given classic looks but they still look very new and interesting. Kitana looks essentially the same as ever except for the coloring.

So much could have been done with her. Hopefully her alt won't be as disappointing.

Somehow I hope this is just a concept art and not waht she'll look. I don't expect drastic changes but look a Liu or Shang Tsung...Classic but great!

I have never read so much debate over a ribbon! Who cares either way? She has black hair, you'll never see it in the game.

Now as I've said in the other thread, I believe the image is poorly drawn. If you look between her ribs and her hips it is poorly twisted. They've coloured the image in to make it look more 3d but it still looks fairly flat. The hair is also looking frizzy and not as sleek as I would have expected, it just makes her look a mess rather than sexy (and no one can say she's not supposed to look sexy, no female would wear that outfit unless they were a prostitute, a women's wrestler or a sexualised video game character). Her eyes also look a bit strange to me, maybe a bit too close together.

I'll have you know that my horse is a very modest size. It just so happens that when I sit on top of him, I'm just high enough to see all the castles and little huts and people who haven't invented machines yet in Edenia.
Then I put on my suit of armor and ride my not-that-high horse to the cave where the fire-breathing dragon sleeps, so I can slay him.
Because that's what we do in Edenia.
Which is based on medieval England.
Where they don't have technology.
Or rubber bands for our ponytails.

No i've known this from the beginning, I was just putting that in because video game fans have a tendency to argue about the stupidest of things (i.e. "she's not supposed to be sexy she's a warrior, she hasn't got time to worry about her hair").

Hmm. I think she should had wore her MK movie outfit, the same as her normal outfit but instead od bare legs she wear black tights. Yeah, her MK movie look rocked.

Loving the Edenian Background.

Her MK movie look was great, it looked practical and suited the character whilst still being sexy. They need to move Kitana's look on desperately. Apart from the MK:DA alt costume which made her look like a drag queen hooker, she has been wearing costumes too similar to her original, and it looks dated now. You could say the same for Sonya, but she looks pretty contemporary in my opinion. Jade and Mileena's costumes for MK:D were much better than Kitana's.

Her movie look was just a tanktop and pants made out of leather...

Tanktop? Looked like a leather /busier/corset, black tights and leather boots to me.

Absolutely! A bit... weirdly bitsy, too.
If you're settling on the onepiece but are going to slather black and blue all over the place, I might have expected more of a design.

thats her normal outfit, but instead of being blue and showing bare legs its black and she wearing black tights. But for this game all they could have did was use that costume and just changed the shirt to blue and left everything else to black.

I would just like to think that, as the personal assassin of an emperor, or as a princess, Kitana would have some sorta patterns or designs on her clothes that stand out.

Y'know, like her Shaolin Monks outfit does.

And I say ninja because saying "assassin" instead feels like splitting hairs to me. "If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck", know what I mean?
