Ooo, she's got sort of a subtle floral pattern over the entire costume. kewl. Glad her face is covered. I dare to think of what horrors the MK team put behind the mask. lol

They gave her some freakishly long thighs/knees in this render lmao. Not much room left for actual leg length.

huh....looks like Kitana's back to brown eyes. I remember they were blue in MK:DA.

Rain has purple, small details but cool.

I'll give yeh Shang Tsung, though.

Actually, I would say Shang is pretty much just wearing an update of his MK2 outfit, with the MK3 hairstyle thrown in for flavor.

Also, I can't help but be a little thrown off by Kitana's face/the shape of her head here. Usually, she looks very Talisa Soto-esque or at least like a vaguely ethnic (as in latina or asian, you can't quite tell) adult woman, but here, in the one game where Liu looks like Robin Shou, they completely change Kitana and give her the small rounded head and giant eyes of a young white girl.
Also, amusing how the Edenia background even has a rainbow.

Well, with the Render being up, I guess Jerrod was wrong about it being concept art.

I have to honest...and coming from a guy who's long despised the Liu/Kitana romance and her portrayal in the movies, you probably won't be surprised......I can't say I see that as an entirely bad thing.

Kitana looked like she had big eyes in MK2. Maybe it's a nod to that look?

I like the look of her eyes from afar, but zoomed in on the high res render. She does look like young girl. I hope to see some in game stuff of her soon.

Well I'm not gonna complain too much, since I'm just happy she made it into the game at all. I was afraid they'd pick Mileena instead to have a female villain on the MK side. (I suppose Mileena could still be on the roster, but with only ten slots, it seems like a waste to take both of them)

It just felt worth pointing out that Kitana suddenly looks like a little girl from the neck up.

I'm not so sure every render background will be it's own stage. I'm pretty sure Edenia here comes from MKD.

It seems like it would be kind of a boring place to fight, and not very MK-like, what with the bright, lush green and blue Garden of Eden-ness that Edenia, naturally, has.

Or maybe this'll turn out to be one of those "half-merged with part of the DCU" stages and the Flash Museum or the Hall of Justice is just off-screen, lol.
