Kitana Resurrected? That SUCKS!!! It is a total disaster…should we worry about the others?

Well, if the news we have recently seen around are correct, then it is a fact Kitana died (I knew this), but she was resurrected by the Dragon King!
I think it’s a great thing Kitana among other favorites are (or might be?) included in the game, but it is a total disaster what they have done to her story! I can’t believe the only way to make her evil was by killing her and being brought from the dead by The DK.
It is lame. Terrible. It sucks!
Sorry. There has been so many complaints about the whole dead-resurrection issue with Johnny Cage, Scorpion, and even Sindel, I just don’t understand why the team could do something like this.
BIG PROBLEM and concern:
I only hope the other characters we have seen: Sonya, Johnny Cage, Jax and maybe Goro have not been affected by the same lack of imagination.
I hope to God Kitana was the only one resurrected. It would totally suck if we had a torrent of fighters killed and resurrected in 1 game.
God I feel so happy with the recent characters, but so angry and worried with their stories.
NO MORE resurrections!
Kitana should had stayed dead. Or had been NEVER killed.

I think it's the development teams way of saying beyond any doubt that death means nothing in Mortal Kombat.

How do u know the dragon king resurrected her?
if it is true i agree with you that kinda thging happens to much now its just a Mk cliche

I also think that Kitana should have not been killed in the first place, I mean come on.
The Deadly Alliance kill everybody, making everyone look like losers, Quan and Shang look like the greatest boss ever... then the Dragon King come out of nowhere, somehow Quan and Shang are killed(btw it sucks to kill the best character the way it happened, they were not even killed in a fight)... then the Dragon King ressurect all those losers who were killed by the Deadly Alliance... MKD should be called loser kombat

I am happy that she is at least included in this game, playable or no, but I agree about the resurrection thing. It has been done to death in the MK universe. Could they not think of anything else to do with her character?

queve its a good idea.. it was the D.A that killed her, not the dragon king.. the dragon king knows real power when he sees it..he gave her life again to aid him in his konquest of outworld and the rest of the realms.. kitana~bad= 1 tough chick.. mileena wont be w/ the dragon king, kitana again is already over shadowing mileena.. muahah muahah i see evil kitana and mileena duking it out for control of the throne...

All jokes aside, I totally agree with you Queve. All things considered though this is probably the best thing that's happened with her storyline in years, as bad as that sounds.

Hey queve, tell me exactly what game Scorpion died and was resurrected in.
And don't say Mythologies because that story doesn't tie into the normal game story.
In the true story the 5th Sub-Zero killed Scorpion's FORMER self, Hanzo Hasashi. (a normal human)
His soul went to hell for being a criminal and was given a chance to avenge his death, so he came back as Scorpion and killed Sub-Zero.
THATS IT
Mythologies had them fighting like 3 times and that was BS.
Now tell me what game Scorpion died in and was resurrected.
This should be fun...

Dany, I know you love Kitana, but come on dude! You have also complained A LOT about this resurrection issue. You may like to think she was important enough to be resurrected, but the whole idea and story is lame and aweful.
I am actually worried Sonya goes through the same thing, if she does not have any good story for being killed and resurtected...I will admit the obvious.
It sucks.

I'm glad Kitana is in, but I don't think she should have died at all. Getting ressurected by the Dragon King however shows her importance in MK imo. Somehow he knew she was powerful and would be a valuable ally. This is now a chance for Kitanas story to go in a new direction. Mileenas has done the same and I think we should wait and see what occurs.

Mythologies DOES tie into the games, ESPECIALLY MK4.
Scorpion dies multiple times in DA, if you need proof play through Quan Chi's Konquest. Then of course there's his ending which directly ties to his new storyline if I'm not mistaken? Scorpion is the Kenny of MK, like it or not.

i hate the idea of resurrecting kitana, it has no reason to resurrect her, she isnt strong. IMO the only one that would be logical to be resurrected are kang and the deadly alliance.(they kicked everybody asses) and maybe stryker (before you say something im joking about this one).
one teory i had bout the prison stage is that the warrior in mkd are the only ones that survived the deadly alliance and the dragon kings. and the rest are zombies and their cell are just their storage

You asked for it. Scorpion died in battle against Sub-Zero before Mk1. He came back. You say it doesn’t count? Ok, how about in Deadly Alliance?

Oh, and please dont say its valid cause he is a specter cause that excuse is very old. Either kill him once and for all, or don’t kill him at all if they will make him return every 3 seconds after his death.

well the fact is that scorpion doesnt even have a body that can be killed so he is only defeated. unless they distroy his soul he cant die

And Also with his ability why can't he just pump out a legion of warriors to fight in the final Battle or Ressurect the looser as it seems the effect on ressurecting turn that character evil.

This is just speculation on my part, but maybe he resurrected her so that Liu Kang would come back. I mean, she's dead and he's dead. They're all up in the Heavens (or inside Shang Tsung) finally getting to have their honeymoon and suddenly Kitana gets yanked away from him? My girlfriend being manipulated by the forces of darkness would certainly piss me off enough to cheat death. wink

It would be better if she hasn’t died at all. And that counts for every character I don’t like that resurrection shit either but if she is evil now her story could get more interesting for the future.
But I am more worried for the other fighters we saw laying in that intro video (Sonya, Cage, Jax). If Kitana was laying there dead the other are probable dead too.
