I agree. Evil Kitana is the best thing that has happened to her. I only hope she is original in her evil story, and not too much like Tanya or Mileena.
Add a few twists here and theer and make her interesting.

Maybe Jerrod lived a double life as Onaga? I dunno, but I like the idea of Kitana being evil. I always pictured her as the Dragon King's General. I could see her fighting Liu Kang, but Kang refusing to fight, leading to his death. I also redicted that if Kitana joined The Dragon King, Onaga would achieve "victory" in MKD (not his ultimate goal, however).
Kitana being resurrected could be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on how the creative team work with it.

Eagle Claw was one of the better styles in Deadly Alliance in my opinion. I think she should keep Eagle Claw and be given one which originates from Edenia thats been amde up. It would have to be fast, deadly and graceful. Edenian Grace or something like that they could call it. And of course, the Steel Fans.
I dont know how her story will evolve now she's evil.

Yes I like Kitana's Eagle Claw stance. But with her becoming the DK's personal protector. I smell sub-boss. :-p

Eagle Claw was better then ba gua, but it was just as bad.

eagle claw is my 2nd fav style in mkda.. but im not ging to argue about that.. i have done it enough..lol but hopefully sh keeps that style and gets a extreamly deadly fast new style.. please give her a projectile,that can be used often not just once..

I agree, Kitana needs a good projectile. She needs all he moves back from past games:
Fan Swipe.
Fan Throw.
Fan Lift Vertical.
Fan Lift Horizontal.
Square Wave Punch.
Pretty Kick.
Backflip. (From Ba GUa even if she doesnt have Ba Gua.)

It was stupid to take it away from her in MKDA. As for "magic" projectiles such as a fireball or something, it dosent fit her IMO.

I agree, nice move list for Kitana, maybe add an air fan throw as well, and something new as an extra for us Kitana fans as well; and NEW FATALITIES!!!

I agree with a new fatality. Let Sonya keep the original kiss of death, and take the fan decapitation away since there are too many fatals like that.

I agree Tom. They should had never killed her. It sucks. terrible story.

Yes sonya had the kiss of death in MK1, but its totally different from Kitana's. Kitana actually kisses them on the cheek and has actual contact with the opponent, while sonya blows a kiss.

First off, I hope to God that Sonya is in.... that way I can kick her ass with Kitana like I do in MK: DA!!!! HA HA HA!! (With all do respect Queve! ) But I actually think that Kitana being resurrected by the Dragon King is a great idea! I mean think about how evil the DK make her! I personally love evil chicks. (Kitana is the only exception) I mean this could very well be one of the best storylines yet! Even better if Sindel doesn't know Kitana has died and been resurrected... She probably thinks that Kitana is alive and good. What a shock it would be for her to have Kitana turn on her and whoop her ass and join forces with Mileena. Only to have Sindel on a quest to turn her against the DK and Mileena!! I hope this is the case. AS LONG AS SHE'S PLAYABLE!!

This is actually the first I've heared of this news. SAY IT IS'NT SO, Boon!!! I have to say that this is the most disappointing news that I've heared in the history of Mortal Kombat (other than Johnny Cage's return, in MK:DA). And this is definitely no exaduration. Kitana is one of the prized women (besides Sonya) Kombatants, in MK. She is most beloved by many. How could anyone do this. What the hell are the guys at Midway smoking. You're right queve, this is a disaster. I am sick and f****** tired of this ressurection bull****, I am going to scream! It's totally played out!

I fully agree, Queve. Killing characters officially should be a big, dramatic event, at least in good storytelling. Bringing the character back should be an equally big event that rarely happens. Killing off characters regularly just to bring them back to life is childish storytelling, the sort of thing I'd expect from a hyperactive 13 year old, not professional game designers.
Cheapening death makes it boring... which is what the MK story will become if they keep it up.

Where is it said that Kitana was killed by the Deadly Alliance? And where does it say that she was resurrected by the DK? I totally missed something here, and I'm sorry to ask, but where did this info all come from? A website? A magazine? Since everyone is accepting this as fact, I trust that this stuff happened, but what's the source?
Also, if Kitana is evil and resurrected and all that, does that mean that she's playable? Sorry for asking an out of the loop question! Any response is much appreciated.

I agree queeve.. fireballs don't go with kitana.. square wave punch does though... and an elbow dash like reptile's would look nasty on her...

If kitana was killed why not kill every f---ing character, honestly this has just destroyed my hopes for MK Deception. Kitana was a strong character who survived many battles she shouldn't of been killed. Maybe be defeated. I'm p---ed really p---ed, after so much anticipation, my MK love has been destroyed.

What bothers me the most about Kitana's death/resurrection is that it is so unnecessary and could have easily been avoided.
Kitana's Bio:
"Princess Kitana successfully freed her the realm of Edenia from the Emporer Shao Kahn only to be threatened by his former subordinates, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. She fell in battle with the Deadly Alliance only to be resurrected by the Dragon King. Kitana now serves as one of his personal body guards."
Replace "fell" with "was defeated" and replace "resurrected" with "captured."
Then add in that he wiped out her memory before it says she's his bodyguard and you have the same story, same deal, minus the cheap, pointless death/resurrection.
