It would be very difficult to have Leatherface in a Mortal Kombat game. Midway would have to pay the producers of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre lots of money to get their character in the Mortal Kombat Franchise.

I highly doubt any rumors of this kind of sort. The Easter Bunny, Santa Clause, and Barney The Dinosaur are all rumors to distract the gullible fans from their affairs within the offices of Midway.

Rick Moranis, Jim Belushi, Ron Jeremy, Wesley Snipes, Bob Barker, and the kid with the girly voice in the movie Wierd Science are ALL in Mortal Kombat: Deception.

Before you come to the forum think about what you're putting on there what people would have to do to create something like that and wether it's even logical. Have you ever seen a comical character that has been made up previoulsly in stories. The only comical characters I've seen were Meat and Mokap, but they weren't even that comical.

I bet this that the first part of this thread is going around now in an email at the Midway offices, they are all getting a big laugh im sure.

Incase you guys didn't know, the MK Team is set to do a Freddy vs. Jason game. So I wouldn't be surprised if one of them popped up in MK:D somewhere.

Midway Announces New Character In Mortal Kombat: Deception

A midway spokesperson today presented eager members of the gaming media a new character in their up and coming game Mortal Kombat: Deception.

This new character called: "Bajar's Arse" looks to be an exciting addition to the already star-studded line-up of new characters, which include new faces such as "Thisiscrap" and "Ifyoubelievethisyouareamoron". Fighting styles are to be confirmed, but of particular interest is a fatality entitled: "The butt squeeze of death" which sounds and looks incredible.

Mortal Kombat Deception is expected to be released Fall, 2004 in the United States.

So, Midway did get the license to do a Freddy vs. Jason game? Bad ass. I think if there were a Netherealm stage a cameo from Freddy and Jason wouldn't be too incredibly far fetched.

That could just be me though seeing as to how I'm a huge Jason fan.
