She has a human face with no nasty teeth, so it can't be Mileena. And, I doubt they would make Sindel have short black hair as an alt costume.

True. I do find it odd that it wouldnt say her name in the magazine though. In the magazine, where they show the screen shots of characters fighting, almost on all of them, it sais who they are. Strange, unless they dont want to reveal her.

That sounds likely. I guess the MK team wasnt ready to reveal that much.

But like it was pointed out already, Mileena has a mutant mouth. Unless the MK team gave her a normal face, which i would doubt.

I completely agree too, and if fighters as Sub-Zero and Reptile have undergone changes in their image, Li Mei could return with different look(as she saw in sketchs) and with similar weapons (I believe that the Sun-Moon would be perfect), and she could return without being compared with Mileena.

I'm almost completely sure the female in the two PSM article screenshots with Ashrah and Kenshi is Li Mei. The only other two characters it can possibly be are Mileena and Sindel.
It can't be Mileena because:
1) She has no nasty mutant teeth
2) Her costume is different than the two costumes Mileena has already been seen wearing(Arabian/Genie thing and pink bikini with strapped boots). This costume is bikini-like with a purple color, and the boots are solid and not strapped.
It can't be Sindel because:
1) No white gray hair
2) No freaky eyes
It IS Li Mei because:
1) Her stance in the screenshot with Ashrah is somewhat similar to her Baji Quan stance. It doesn't look exactly like it, but she could be moving in the screenshot.
2) The screenshot of her kicking Kenshi is an identifiable Li Mei move. It is her f+3 kick in Lui He Ba Fa. Compare that screen to the screen of Li Mei in MKDA at http://mkdeception.midway.com/mortalkombatdeadlyalliance/screenshots/characters/char_img_limei1.html
Her posture is exactly the same. There's no mistake about it.
Also, if you noticed, she's wearing some kind of scarf, and my guess is, it'll be an article of clothing that can be unwrapped during the fight since she's wearing so little as is.
So there, Li Mei looks to be another confirmed character. I'm glad about this since Li Mei never got a chance in MKDA because she was given such a lame story line, ending, and moveset. This is her second chance.

lol you guys are funny. I'm new to this online forum. It seems to be very active! I'm surprised so many people still like this game. Well, Mileena's always been my favorite so I hope it's her! When I watched the series a long time ago..she had a human face except when she had taken off her veil... And lets not forget that it could not be Li Mei because Mileena can take on anybody's appearance, which could complicate things more...But the picture from DA does resemble more of Li Mei.

You can see by her noticeable unhuman-like skin lining above the veil. It appears she has deformed flesh underneath what's covering it.

You haven't understood it. We don't say that she isn't Mileena, but that aside from Mileena, Li Mei also this in the game.
