Does this mean they are playable characters?

I've enjoyed reading this thread. I expected to see it full of Li Mei haters. Instead I was surprised. Li Mei was one of my MKDA favorites, too. If she is indeed confirmed I would be happy. There are worse MKDA characters that can be carried over.

As for Li Mei's weapon, why not give her a staff-based weapon like she has in the Krypt sketches. I think a bladed staff weapon like a naginata would suit her perfectly.

Yea, they gotta think of some cool weapon for her. Maybe give her the Sun Moon, or some kinda spear/staff. They should try to move her away from the Mileena image....

I'm not that big a Li Mei Fan, but she doesn't bother me either. Your weapon idea is good. It is very likely she will get a new one, because the Sai are Mileena's trademark in the series. She also, in earlier pics, had Kama's as weapons maybe if Nitara isn't in, they will give thos back to her? Then again how many people had similar sword in DA? I will say that if Sonya is not in the game I will be a little upset that they gave Li Mei a spot and left her out.

Second, Li Mei is confirmed not only by Konqrr, but by her picture in the PSM. Think about this for second. Who else could it have been? Either a new character ripped off of LMs design, or LM herself.

And finally, Konqrr never just "shoots his mouth off." He knows numerous details about the game and the only time he ever reveils anything at all is when there is already heavily substantiated evidence behind the claim. He's known about Kabal for weeks, but did he say anything? Once again, calm down guys.
