here is why we say that mirrows do not show who is the best.

at this point my kobra can keep up with any of the top character in the hands of any of the top players. but yes any one who has a ok kobra can beat mine in a krobra vs krobra match. and that same person if he uses kobra vs any top character he ll lose.

im one of the few folks who beat versatile in a series of games twice. that was early when th game came out.

now i have lost like 10 straight series vs him.

So, if player A does really good against Sareena, Scorp, Drahmin, etc. but loses in only mirrors to player B who sucks against maority of the characters, it makes player B better? No.

It just means that player A is not good in mirrors (i.e. not good only against 1 particular character), whereas player B is only good against 1 character, while he gets his ass handed to him in other match-ups.

Mirrors is only 1 part of the puzzle. You have to be able to do well against all other characters with a particular character to be considered any good with him/her.

whats sad is i had this great idea for character tiers. but the game isnt played by many good players so whats the point now. some day maybe MK8.

Nakm ~ Sonyas and Kiras give my kabal a hard time. its the damn kiss of death, hard to get in on them w/ him.

Lol. I think Sonya is more of a niusance vs. Kabal. Whenever RIU went to try and rush me and do up+2 in hook swords or his axe-kick I'd just do d+1or d+3 with her sticks and it would knock him back 1 or 2 steps. Sonya's more of a turtling character IMO. That is, if you want to play her the best way. Just spam her Kiss of Death all day and if your opponent gets to close do d+1 or d+3. LOL! But I'm still pissed f+1 doesn't hit mid anymore.

Although I haven't found much use for Tae Kwon Do yet. Some people say it's a shitty style while others say it's actually pretty decent. But I do love 3 and b+1 since it can be a free grab or a fairly good 50/50 mix-up.

I just hate it that Kira's higher tier than Sonya. Stupid red-haired bitch! Not only that, but Kira took Frost's better style.
