No, the bad hting is that he's back period. I'd hate to see my favourite character get killed off, but if they did, I'd accept the fact that they stayed dead. Like Look at the older Sub-Zero.

Well, Lui Kang is only unlockable, so if you dont want him, dont unlock him, thats what I would do.

I think that they should just keep him in for the simple fact that his storyline will be very interesting, and maybe even important.

Well, maybe like may other things in MK, in MK7 Midway will act like he never died or like MKDA never happened? It's so like them.

Midway focuses on the games first then fits the storyline around what characters they want to put in due to popularity,balance etc.
I don't care about the storyline in a fighting game,I just want good gameplay and good graphics/sound.
They should update Liu Kang's clothes though,and fix his body shape- it sould be like MK2 Liu Kang's body not steroid pumped.

ya cuz his brother is so much different from him. they basically brought him back as well, but then changed their mind and said it was his brother.

I honestly couldn't care less what they do with his story. As long as I can play as the character, I really couldnt care less. Especially if it's turkeyboy...

The storyline with Liu finally has me interested in him.I disliked him,but now I think he is gonna be interesting.

Look at it this way the MK Team has 2 choices A. Kill off a fan favourite permanently and have a big uproar or B. Kill them for one game and then make there story super interesting such as liu and keep alot of fans happy. I personally don't care if somone has to sit out for one game unless it is Sub-Zero... lol

actually they killed him off probably because so many people on the boards whined about him winning all the time.... then they brought him back with a good story so people like you wouldn't moan and complain about his story sucking anymore. His story is good now.... so what are people going to complain about him for now? Don't even get started with his "turkey voice"

was mkda the first MK game you ever played people? cuz that game didnt have LIU kang in it.... and it's like now none if you know how to spell his name

Well Im happy to see him in Deception. I never liked the old Kang since he was always winning and he was the best at stuff. This new Kang doesnt have a high voice at all and he actually isnt as skinny as he used to be. Liu is a good addition but I HOPE he doesnt return to get his throne back and be the strongest again. I Just dont like it if that happens. Oh well. We got these new powered up characters now. Hopefully they will actually be able to beat him and not let him reign supreme.
