Hmmmm. I never really cared for Lui Kang. Personally, I would rather he just stay gone. But this is MK, and no one dies completely......

Kanos ending didn't suggest that Liu is "badass", it suggested that the soul-less body of Kano is now occupied by Liu, that means hed still be his own self just in a different body....i really hope they continue it from there....

I dislike Kano but I love Liu. I don't want Kano to be doing flying kicks and the bycicle kick in Deception.

Liu was the main character in the first couple of games and it's a shame he had to die in DA. I'm not for resurrection since that has gotten lame, but I guess it's alright to have him back as Kano... but I wouldn't like Liu then anymore.

Tough decision. I like Liu a lot, but I wouldn't like him as Kano. It would be cooler if Liu's soul had taken over Shang Tsung's and they would have a 'soul-fight' over who is the stronger kombatant. Then Liu would win and have Tsung's body.

Liu's time is up as Champion... its time for someone else to take his place... Kung Lao. The Original Kung Lao was the one to defeat Shang Tsung as champion in the old tournament before MK1 so its only right that his descendent Kung Lao, too, becomes champion.

If your gonna bring someone back, screw Liu, bring back KAHN.

Well technically Liu kang is also a descendant of kung lao, so him and the present kung lao are related. Having him killed off was, i think, a cool plot twist. I mean when he's in the game you know he and his friends are gonna win but now that he's gone your just not sure even with kung lao. But if raiden can resurrect johnny cage why can't he resurrect kang? Theres probably some law for gods on this but wouldn't it be sad if you could only resurrect one person and he wasted it on johnny cage.

If he WAS resurected, he needs a complete overhaul. He should be like princess zelda in Ocarina of Time...all mysterious and shit, and you dont know its him until the END. I say make his spirit or sould posses another warrior

Jeebus. i hope Liu Kang NEVER returns again. He's had his days of sounding like a turkey, he's had his days of being a champion, and hes had his days of beating kahn. Let the guy rest, IMO he should never return again. The next best fighter should be Kung Lao, hes more bad ass than Liu, and he certainly looks better.

Because Liu Kang's soul is in Tsung's possession unless Tsung died and Liu's soul went to heaven.

Well if he isn't in Deception it would be cool if he came back in MK7, if it's even made. He could be the main boss or something like that.

Okay, I'm not stupid here, but I'm really starting to dislike the misleading thread titles. "Liu Kang Resurrected????" Is just a little bit suggestive, if you ask me. Why not something like "Should Liu Kang be Resurrected?" But that's neither here nor there, and I'm not flaming anyone. Just making my own anal-retentive suggestion.

Anywho, I think that Liu should come back in Kano's body. I think it'd make a great story personally. An evil warrior posessed by a good warrior. One stance can be Kano's, and he can have his knife throw, cannonball, and eyelaser. Another stance can be something like Shaolin Fist or something, where Kano can use his other three special moves: The high/low fireballs, the flying kick, and either the bicycle kick or the roundhouse uppercut (or a version of it that could start a juggle). I think that'd be awesome, and it'd be a way for Liu Kang fans to be somewhat happy, for Kano fans to have their boy back again, and for both characters to have new and interesting plots. On one hand, Kano and (most likely) Kabal are battling Mavado and the Red Dragon, and on the other hand Kano has this soul that's battling for control inside of him. It sounds pretty damn cool if you ask me!!

Liu Kang doesn't need to come back. He won everytime. Him dying opens a whole new door for the other fighters, which can create better storylines. They should keep him out.
