Wonder Woman looks good in the render, but the DC renders to me arent the most exicting things, since for the most part we pretty much know what the characters are gonna look like.
*EDIT* In fact on second thought she looks to have rather strange skin, a large neck and large forehead (though the forehead thing is just because of the way her tiara is sitting but still looks off).

Im pleased Wonder Woman and Deathstroke were added. Kano I dont mind, for me personally their could have been better characters included, but also a lot worse than him. Its good that theres another villain in the mix tho. Raiden I dont care about in the slightest, never liked him, prob never will.

Why Kano? Seriously?! How is he in over Kung Lao, Reptile, Johnny Cage and Mileena? Him and Jax are terrible chocies for the game, imo.

The only clues Kotuka gave us were... Prototypical Super Hero, Mystical Super Hero, Amazon Queen, Sexy Villainness, Crazy Villain, and Military Superhero.

No ninja villian.
And by the way, Wonder Woman's render is hideous.

Kotaku listed even more hints in the comments section of that article. The writer said if you'd like even more speculation, here's the complete list of hints! Ninja villain was one of them.

Kotaku did list those clues though. It's on a separate page; you just aren't looking hard enough.


Anyway, Kano is complete fail. I'm very displeased by his inclusion.

Before Deception (if I remember correctly), the marketing team used a rather sexy version of Mileena to promote MK. From that day on, I was always of the opinion that Mileena was pretty much the `girl` of MK and I was almost certain that she would make it.
But now that there’s only a spot left, I bet her chances are pretty slim.

Kano is a let down...maybe if the roster was 15 for each side then I'd be more accepting of him, but man, MILEENA and REPTILE need to be in this (and I don't even like Reptile that much but I know he's iconic enough)! This is the first character announcement to disappoint me.

I still think Cage have a good chance to be in, but they can make some sh!t like putting a Kung Lao or a Reptile thing...

Aside from being a "ninja villain" despite not really being a ninja, Deathstroke is a tactical genius with enhanced reflexes, strength, senses and speed along with a healing factor; he got these powers through Military experiments to create superhuman soldiers. He's primarily an enemy of the Teen Titans, though he generally will take on any superheroes he's hired to fight with.

So basically he's [(Batman + Wolverine) - Any qualms about killing] x [(Guns + Swords + Bombs)/ (Insane family members + Resemblance to Colonel Sanders)]

Completely agreed, and this basically makes it a foregone conclusion that Johnny Cage is the last character on the MK side, because he's the only (playable from the start) MK1 character yet to be included. Someone please remind the MK team that being around longer in the series does not equal popularity. If you wanted a Black Dragon member, why not Kabal? If you wanted a second OIA member, where's Cyrax? Where's Kenshi? Want a villain? Hmm, there's Reptile, Mileena, Kabal (again), Shao Kahn, and Kintaro/Goro. Putting Kano in there was just a play for classic characters and nothing more.

i knew raiden was going to be in and with sonya AND jax in i knew kano would make it too. so no surprises there.

i'm kind of shocked that they included deathstroke though, i'm really interested in seeing the rest of the DC roster especially with only two character slots left. come on martian manhunter!

johnny cage and mileena will probably be the next MK characters. or maybe cage and kung lao. i'm hoping for mileena though, we need more villians and she's more interesting than baraka and reptile imo.

I would be pleasantly surprised if Quan Chi was announced. He is wayyyyy more popular then Kano. Kabal too, he would have been so much better than Kano. Apparently Iconic to them means everyone from MK1 and MK2.

well i think iconic means one things to fan and another to the general public. i don't think anyone outside of us knows anyone from beyond MK2 while a bunch of people may remember the other characters from movies and tv shows and such.

I think I know why they put "X" MK character in the game.

It seems to me that for the MK side they have chosen "Who appeared in the first movie?" (Jax had a cameo didn't he?)
