Quan has been a fav of mine since MK4.

Quan Chi kicks ass. There is no denying that. He has a strong story and is a definite badass. He has beaten a lot of people and has proven that you don't need to rule entire realms or possess vast power to come out on top.
I expect big things for him in the future and MKD will be the next step as MKDA was the beginning imo.

Quan Chi is a badass in a deceptive kind of way. Quan Chi tends to avoid fights but stacks the odds up against whom ever he wants taken out.
Quan Chi is sneaky and cunning, those are perfect traits for a bad guy. Quan Chi is one of my most respected villains in Mortal Kombat along with Shang Tsung.
I think Quan Chi will get caught in his act one day but untill then I will be very amused on what the sorcerer does next.

Yep... Quan Chi is more of a "behind the scenes" guy. Shang Tsung always has an urge for epic Good VS Evil battles, if not he wouldn't have even held the first MK tournament in the first place.

I was thinking this prison idea was really good. But, the next step would be a torture chamber. With characters getting stretched out on wacky old school torture devices. That would be nuts!

Hence, Quan Chi is the announcer for MK4, MKDA, and MKD. He's the ultimate Boss or something. Kinda like Shao Kahn was the announcer for MK2, MK3, UMK3, MKT. And Shang Tsung was the announcer of MK1.
Also, remember that the MK1 Sub Zero was directed to assasinate Shang Tsung in MK1 I bet you Quan Chi had a hand in the assasination atempt!!

Persoanlly I dont really like Quan Chi much. I didn't mind him in MK4 and his legbeat fatality was wuite good. But I think his MK:DA look was a bad move. He just looked plain weird imo. He was also a cheap boss, he always done that stupid thing when he swiped at his elgs and u fell and it was hard to get out of. His fatality also sucked big time.
But I do agree they are probably gonna do something really big with him. But I just hope they make him a bit better.
