Midway is really making Quan chi look like he is the biggest badass in the MK series. A little SPOILER

A very LITTLE spoiler is in this thread!!
They show th DA killing lui kang, shao khan who they thought was the MAN the undefeatable monster well besides lui kang beating him, well the DA defeated Kang too, thats like kicking bruce lee's ass or jackie chang.
Then they show him easily beating shang tsungs ass. NOw he will probably get the amulet back or have given the DK a fake amulet and will kick his ass too.
Quan chi also sent shinnok off back to the netherrealm if i remeber correctly, he also beat the hell outta raiden.
This damn Quan chi is unstoppable and i think we just might see quan chi even whoop subzeros ass in the future.
He already killed scorpions family why not kill scorpion. Wait he sent scorpion to the soulnado thankx to the ONI.
Quan chi can NOT be beaten the top guys have fallen to him all the last bosses in the MK games fallen to him, the MK champion fell to him, I bet subzero will get whats coming next in the future, the DA even beat kitana ass, and Lei Mei, Quan chi is the BEST fighter in MK history he deserves this AWARD LOL.

Dude, your just high up on yourself. First of all, all quan chi did to liu kang was fire a skull at him to weaken him for shang tsung to kill him he didn't fight liu at all. And he didn't fight raiden all alone he had tsungs help. And he defeated tsung because he was just probably better than him and because he had just fought raiden as well. He didn't have time to make another fake amulet so the one that the DK got was most likely the real one. As for shao kahn he was already weak because he was extending his power to his army to help keep kitana and goro and bay. He couldn't defeat the DK even with shangs and raidens help what makes you think he is going to do so much better without them. As for scorpion he was defeated by the oni who overpowered him because there were two of them and moloch is pretty big. Quan chi is very evil but he isn't the ultimate bad ass.
OMG he so cool LOL hes the ultimate badass LOL OMG

Quan Chi DID KILL Scorpion in MKDA.
He fought him in Shang Tsungs home, and threw him in the acid arena.
It says so in his Konquest bio.
Anyway, Quan Chi is awesome, has lots of potential, but he, IMO, is not better then Shang Tsung-

he is definitely my fav badass in all of Mortal Kombat
not to mention he's like the Hugh Heffner of the game as well.

If their was one character that I wish would die a slow and painful death, it's Quan Chi. And his ass should stay dead. Jeez, I hate him.
He's boring, generic, boring, about as evil as the easter bunny, boring, and quite the pussy I must say. wink

Okay, seriously, I think Quan is a decent character. I enjoyed playing as him in MK4 and MKDA, although I liked his MK4 movelist much better(and don't get me started on the neck stretch fatality).
However, I do not think he is by any means the biggest badass in MK. I think that honor would have to go to the Dragon King at this point, but that could change I suppose.
BTW, it WAS Shang Tsung that delivered the deciding blow to Raiden in the MKD intro, but then again, Quan did kind of own him in their fight. Oh, well.

Damn!!
I keep hearing about this "fight".
You guys can't mean that Raiden didn't come across as being able to beat these two fools if it was one on one.
Could someone who saw it give me like a play by play. I'd appreciate it.

the konquests r just like endings, only a couple come true. and if u're gonna look at it like that, then scorpion killed quan chi since he beat him in that short commercial.
but i do think that quan chi is one of the best characters in MK, might even be in my top 3, however scorp is #1.
o and skelepimp, raiden totally owned both of them for like 2 minutes. shang tsung just got lucky as he was near his source of souls, so he got enough energy to knock raiden down. but if it was one on one, raiden would have killed both of them easily.

Scorpion will probably get him, after all, he can't be destroyed & it looks like the eldar gods are helping him.
Scorpion is the best character in MK IMO

I really like the Quan Chi character. Ever since seeing some of the endings he was involved in, in MK 4/Gold, I really was taken to the character. Quan Chi screws EVERYONE and can backhimself up. I knew Quan Chi would be a favorite when I saw Baraka's MK Gold ending...."I haven't a life to give....you fool". He is a powerful nemesis and I hope that he is in MK D in some form.

Quan Chi whoop the ass of Baraka in Baraka MKGold ending, he whoop the ass of Shang Tsung and he whoop the ass of Scorpion in the Outworld.
The only reason why he was not able to beat the DK with Tsung and Raiden was because they were all weakened from the previous fight.
Quan Chi is by far the greatest 'bad guy' in the MK serie, the only problem that I have with him, was his stupid fatality in MKDA and his lack of special moves... the guy is a sorcerer for god sakes and he could only throw his little skull fireball.
Quan Chi is an original character with some charisma, MKM:Sub-Zero was a great game just because of his presence

Quan Chi isn't that bad but I think I better quote a line from Bezou's Spirit Liu Komic, "By the way, if you hadn't had that amulet, I would've wiped the floor with you back there." -Shang Tsung. Quan's cool but he doesn't deserve that much damn credit character-wise he's nothing compared to Shang.

i agree that Quan Chi has really risen up the ranks of the mk universe, but he isnt the greatest, but he very well could be....
i remember playing MK4 and reptile was my favorite character in it. i beat the game and Quan Chi fuckin kills him, thus my name Revenge4Reptile was born... i was lookin forward to whooping Quan in DA but when it came here, Quan Chi just blew me away with his involvement of the plot and he became my favorite char. maybe because i have always liked when the villians win too. Quan Chi is the man, hes like that Chumbawumba song "tubthumpin". damn right hes gonna be in MKD, some way, he became way too important to just forget. plus with Scorpions tie in with him, (boons favorite character) he needs an awesome villian. i think Quan CHi will kill the DK and be the head honcho in MK7.....

I would see Quan Chi join side with the Dragon King and gain the DK confidence, until the DK give to Quan the control of his army.
Then Quan would just wait for the right moment to attack and betray the DK.
Shang is cool but without the morphing ability he is not the same IMO

I always did like Quan a LOT because he clearly has better fighting skills than Shang Tsung AND he is a filthy little weasel. Better = not possible smile
