Midway has released the official box art for MK Armageddon on the Wii!
Details right now are still sketchy on the Wii-exclusive control mechanisms for the game, but we will continue to post on this as more becomes known.

Hmm, the sincere lack of news on this particular version leaves me to deduct that this is just a basic port. I'm sure Midway would boast about the changes for this version as they have done with previous versions. For now, all i've heard is that midwya was "excited" about the wii-mote and nothing more. If they would add bios/updates, or a new control scheme, they'd surely boast more about it than "just" releasing boxart and remaining quiet.
Still, i hope this version will have clear improvements over the PS2/xbox versions, but with the deafening silence on the newsfront, i am not too sure. I'm holding off the purchase of MKA untill i know more though.

Oh god, watch out for the big news!!! What surprises me is how much the new boxart is different from the other versions. They really went out of their minds for this. You can see Khameleon in the eye of the dragon. Seriously, same old crap , same old shit.

About Me
I need a new sig picture....

Yeah, it's nothing new...but I hope there's an exclusive box art for the Wii version...like Liu Kang/Shang Tsung, or Sektor/Cyrax, etc.

Ok wow.

it would be unfair for any MAJOR changes to the wii version, but i can think of a few things they can put it in the wii version to make mka passable
maybe
bios
viewable endings
khameleon
tremor
and maybe an alternate ending to konquest
i think that would be fair

I agree, but I thought it would be neat to have full canon bios for each character since their first appearence.

Well, I've been considering trading the PS2 version in to get on the Wii, but I'm waiting for more info first.

Cool, I'll laugh if the wii version has Khameleon in it which the midway team hinted as a possibility in the MKO chat they had fight night not too long ago.
