Midway Releases Blazes Bio From Mortal Kombat: Armageddon!

It's not that bad of a bio. I agree with a few others that it's good there is no mention of Shinnok or Quan Chi here. Mentioning offers, deals, gaining allies was starting to annoy me a little. Kenshi's is by far the best tho. Sonya's is pretty good too.
What I liked about Blaze's bio tho was the hint at why the realms are in trouble in the first place. (Now please bare with me coz I don't have the game yet unfortunately and I still need to get a PS2 so I'm not sure if it is explained in Konquest mode) What I'm getting at is the reference to warriors "tapping" into what binds the realms. Before it looked like, oh yeah so there is lots of kombat which would somehow create the apocalypse. Ok, its a little weak but I can accept that. This now sort of clears up that the MK warriors are, I suppose, chosen and gain a lot of their power from the "force" for want of a better explanation. There is too many now and that threatens, as the intro so put it, "the fabric of the realms".
I'm just happy that part of the story is getting cleared up a bit. That was my main concern anyway.

Argus' temple...on Earth? I know that's likely the "Pyramid"(fmv shows Blaze scream atop the pryamid). So is that supposed to mean that Raidens' got a temple hidden somewhere on one of the other realms? And inter-collectivly the same for all the other realms' possible gods?

As Rajsingh already pointed out, Argus has a temple on Earth...the one you go into during Konquest after you fight Kabal...and the pyramid is in Edenia. Delia also has a temple on Earth...it's where the Lin Kuei is currently based.

And what's with all the "foreiners" being on Earth? Taven, Daegon, Blaze ect...Am I missing something here? Why are "they"...here? There's no invasion of earth by the time all this stuff swings into play....right?

Taven and Daegon were hidden on Earth because Argus and Delia thought they'd be safe there until they needed to awakened.

He wanted to find out what the deal with Daegon was. Remember, these bios take place before Konquest....during which, Daegon stopped in the Netherealm to get an update with Shinnok? I imagine that's when Blaze figured out what was up with Daegon and the bad guys.

I am amazed (in a bad way) as to the many silly things that's being said in this thread. It is truly amazing...
Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, XiahouDun84 pretty much cleared it up.
There IS a reference to Shinnok. (hint hint: evil influence emanating from the Netherrealm)
About Argus having a pyramid in Earthrealm, I guess there are a lot of people who either didn't play Konquest, or they simply did not pay much attention to its story.
queve: Why would Blaze feel evil? He's simply trying to do what he was created to do. He's not the type of person going around hurting and killing innocent people nor is he someone that wants to destroy or to conquer the realms.
If you want a wee bit of insight to his past, read his MKU bios.
BlademasterJT: Blaze is corrupted differently from other characters. His corruption lies within his body, namely his corrupted design, hence Taven's and Blaze's endings.
GrandMaster_Sub-Zero: Please re-read Noob-Smoke's bios. Noob Saibot states that with all his masters gone, he can step up and become his own master.
The pyramid is definitely not in the Netherrealm. It's in Edenia.
Anyway, this bio was ok, but honestly, I didn't expect much from it. I'm glad he's trying to do something at least.

It's ok but I feel it needed more.
Given that this is only the tenth bio, I hope they either mass release the rest or just add them to the Wii version. They are few and far between.
i was just about to say that. It's ok but I feel it needed more.

Fortunately (except that considered his comment an unfortunately thing, because this message was needed) XiahouDun84 cleared it up.
I'm sick that all that users that talk shit without reason, I don't understand... and this is the "light" version of my opinion of this people...

100% Agree.

I never said I wanted or felt that Blaze should be/feel evil. I was just stating how I actually liked the fact that he wasn’t evil for the very same reasons you posted, same thoughts, and how it was cool he was the first "boss" in that position. It was just a positive comment.
And no, the MKU bios wont do considering I said some interesting news about him, Argus or Delia would had been nice, and all that is already old.
Like I said, great bio. I really like it.

When do we find out who dies? I guess we'll have to wait for the next game.
I hope they save some good characters till the end so we don't all lose interest.

Shinomune: When I said "unfortunately", it was because I kind of wanted to clear things up myself as some of the people who responded to this thread just didn't see things in the bio that were so obvious, which is kind of mind-boggling. It's a case of mixed feelings I had. *shrugs*
queve: I never said that you said those things. It's just the way you worded part of your other post made me question why Blaze would feel evil at all. But now I understand that you were talking about your feelings on Blaze's character.

I agree with you to a point. Hopefully more character motivational variety along these lines will crop up in other bios, though in a way it's easy to see why the whole "deal with Shinnok and Quan Chi" thing keeps getting flogged out; the whole crux of Armageddon's plot involves Shinnok setting up and masterminding the huge war we see in the intro; lot's of deal making, baiting, lying, and fast talking would be required on Shinnok's part to pull off such a scheme.
All of this makes Shinnok more and more obviously the Lucifer of the series though; fallen Elder god/fallen angel, banished to Hell only to rule it and scheme to get back at the heavens as a smoothe talking snake etc. Which is why it's all too fitting that he be the main evil behind Armageddon. Gives MK a more Biblical vibe. Even still though, I most definitely agree it would be cool to see at least a few more characters who are outside Shinnok's sphere of influence, and are in that canyon for purely their own reasons.
True when all's said and done it's just one big excuse to get every character that ever was in the core series to slug it out with one another, but that's always what I appreciated about MK; most any other fighting game series would come up with far flimsier excuses or none at all. MK takes the time to get all elaborate, and have it's own internal logic. Most often times it works, sometimes it doesn't, but the effort is always appreciated. It sets this series apart from the rest IMHO.
